Does this drive go to sleep when not in use? null

Yes it does. I use it for my xbox one and when I shut it off it goes into a sleep mode.

It works pretty much same as flash drive. It goes to sleep when your computer goes to sleep. When it's not in use but plugged in it's idles. I usually disconnect it from computer when I turn it off. When plugged in it takes computer longer time to start because computer checks and scan it as any other HD it has.
