Q: QuestionI want to connect an external drive to the usb on the my cloud ex2 ultra. Do I have to shut down the cloud first, or can I just plug in the external drive while the cloud is running?

Q: QuestionI have one of these. If I buy 2 new drives, can I swap those in and then later remove them and swap the original drives in with different backup sets on each pair of drives? Potentially having 3+ pairs of drives I rotate for offsite backups?

• A:Answer Depends on what you mean. For the configuration page, only one browser can be logged in. As in if you used device and pc. It would prompt you to logout of the other first. But if you mean having multiple computers using the same credentials, unlimited can use the credentials for functions such as connecting to a network drive. Outside of network drive, I did not see a way to use a windows software with it but also did little effort as it was set for a plex server
