QuestionWhere is Quick Start Guide? I don't see it anywhere. There is a page titled Technical Support, Safety and Warranty Guide. It is printed with the text at about 2 pixels in size and in many languages. I read it with a magnifying glass and did not see it.

- Answer You could check the web site but this rugged little drive is so simple you should not need it. Just plug it in and it should be ready to format if you are not a Windows user. I think it is preformatted for Windows but if you are using another OS just enter the command required to initialize the disk and format it. For instance "INITIALIZE /ERASE /STRUCTURE=5 $7$DNC6: NEW_USB_DISK" on the VMS operating system specifies that disk device number 6 on cluster node 7 USB controller C is to be erased and then formatted according to the On Disk Structure 5 format specification and labeled NEW_USB_DISK. Keep a hand full of these on hand and when a user complains about disk space just pop one in and add a quick two terabytes of disk space.

QuestionI recently purchased this & plugged it in used it to save my go pro videos. Next time I went to load more videos I got this message: USB DEVIE RECOGNIZED- The last USB device you connected to this computer malfunctioned, and Windows does not recognize it.

- Answer Did you try reformatting the drive? Try a different USB port? Aggravating if you have to reformat with out being able to grab the files off of it.

- Answer Yes. Once you connect it to your laptop or computer it will go through an install prcoess. When you save games or anything you just choose the drive as the save location.

QuestionI've had the 1T version of this drive for at least 3 years now, and it works great, but it's approaching its storage limit. Can I just swap it out for the 2T model? Just unplug the old one and plug in the new one?

- Answer Yes, but the data won’t automatically transfer over. You will have to start a new backup.
