Q: QuestionI have a Samsung Galaxy S7 with service through Total Wireless. The service in my house is sketchy, at best. Total Wireless told me that they would not recommend a booster because it would damage the phone. Have you found this to be true?

• A:Answer It didn't help me, (yet). Although I have other options to explore, (e.g. alternate signal receiver placement locations), the justification for this expenditure is dubious. The infrastructure for our modern technology simply can not maintain an equal pace. The towers and satellites are limited, our hand-held computers, on the other hand, are seemingly infinite.

• A:Answer The model dictates the inside range. I have noticed that my phone works best in room with inside antenna. Also, the install directions note that the outside antenna should be 50 horizontal feet or 20 vertical feet from inside antenna. That may not be possible if you have the outside antenna on roof and inside antenna in the attic.

• A:Answer This doesn't need a phone line to install. I added pictures to show you what was included in the box. I was surprised that it had a window cable that let you get the cable into the house without having to drill another hole into the house. The window was able to close completely too. Very happy that it had all the coaxial wiring that is needed. I have a metal roof and I couldn't get my cell phone to work at all until I installed this product. Hope this helps.

Q: Questionif i have -119 dbm and the att cell tower is 10 miles away will this product lower my dbm numbers thus making it better will this product recieve a better signal outside before it amplifies to inside devices?

• A:Answer My experience showed that it only picks up as good of a signal as broadcasted in your area. I've mounted mine on a 5 foot pvc pipe to raise it higher for reception. Typical outdoor reception on my phone is 2-3 bars. I have 5 bars in the family room now where as before I would get 2 at the window and none in the master (master is 2, trying to improve that with indoor antenna placement).
