QuestionThe front display is frozen with an hourglass symbol and I cannot find anything on how to fix this on web. It worked fine for a week but now it is useless. How can this be fixed? Tried unplugging and nothing, same thing appears. Extremely disappointed.

- Answer We’re now having this issue with our smart range, been stuck on hourglass for 12 hours. Tried unplugging for 5 min then plugging back in, and tried turning circuit breaker off for 5 min also. Neither helped, still stick. I can’t find any solutions online either, this is ridiculous and unacceptable, especially because this is Labor Day weekend.

QuestionCan the Whirlpool emblem at the top of the unit be removed? If yes, is there a hole, or is it attached with strong glue/bond?

- Answer Yes - piece of cake. Heat it up with a heat gun or a hair dryer. Lift it with a plastic scraper while heating. I cleaned off the residue that was left behind with acetone, but you could use goo gone or nail polish remover. Finally, polish it with bar keepers friend. It's a 5 minute job and you can't tell it was ever there.

- Answer Replaced mine with a dimmable led and it works great. Matches my under cabinet lighting. Hate the yellow look of yesteryear lighting in the kitchen. its a G9 bulb. use this for your search G9 LED Bulb Pathway Lights Dimmable 2W (20W Halogen Equivalent) Warm White 3000K G9 Base 2835. The lighting shows up more like 5.5k or 6k and works great.

- Answer Everything you will need is included in the box from the manufacturer. We replaced our microwave (it was a less expensive Whirlpool) with this model and the mounting hardware was in the exact same spot where we ended up not needing to use it. Best of luck!

QuestionThe microwave locks up when cooking. After a few minutes of running, it will shut off, the display will freeze, and the timer does not change. I can hit cancel and it will respond, but I have to start it cooking again. Does anyone know the cause?

- Answer Not sure but I have had similar issues. Only had mine about a month, it restarted once when I turned on the hood fan while microwaving. The hourglass will come up and it will reset. Made sure I got the warranty but I am just hoping this is a good product. Fingers crossed.

- Answer I am with you on this. I first saw this beautiful color appliance after it won awards in 2015. It took them this long to get the few pieces they have out now nearly 3 years to get them. I purchased the microwave and a range (which I have not installed yet) and am waiting impatiently for a French door counter depth Refrig with water and ice in the door. (Very Impatiently) I have called the company many times and I think we are getting on a first name basis...trying to get them moving. I do not think my efforts are working. I have been assured that the line is still so new they are releasing it in small batched to see if it catches on. I was only able to seen the product online as none of my local stores had any on the showroom floors. I think if the company wants to sell the Sunset Bronze line they should get out the models on the floors of big box companies. Just the color will sell the product. The bells and whistles are nice but I love the color. I would love it if other companies would pick up the color and add separate coffee makers, fryers and small appliances to match. OOOhhh what a lovely kitchen! I might even try to learn to cook!

- Answer I believe Yes if your dimensions are correct. It does have a built in exhaust fan. that will blow out front It has 4 different speeds too.

- Answer Sounds like an electrical issue. Geek squad should have checked connections during install. You need to check on your warranty and have them replace it.

QuestionCan I install this in a wall like the attached picture? I would like to install it over my wall oven

- Answer Hi Amy, this particular model WMHA9019HZ is meant for over the range installation as it also functions as a vent hood. There are, however, Countertop Microwaves that can be installed to have the built-in appearance.
