QuestionZero Clearance Door?Does this microwave have a zero-clearance door? In other words, can it be installed next to a wall and still have the door open?

- Answer Yes it does. I just walked into my kitchen and checked. I put my hand directly on the side of it, opened the door and it didnt move or press on it at all.

- Answer No, this microwave cannot be used on a counter-top and it cannot be used as a cabinet built-in. This is an over the range microwave.

QuestionIs the Light Bulb that Lights the Counter Top Covered by Warranty?Ours was defective out of the box. Press the Light On button and it flickered a time or two and then out. Of course it's some kind of "special" bulb so where can I get it and what is the replacement part number?

- Answer Most stores carry appliance bulbs, but I would recommend bringing the bad bulb with you to be sure you get the correct bulb.

QuestionCan I install a ducted OTR microwave under 16" deep cabinet?I just purchased a Whirlpool Model WMH53520CW over the range microwave. My cabinet is approximately 16" deep which is too deep if I wanted to use it in recirculating mode. I will be venting it out the top and through the roof. Is this OK to cover the recirculating vent or do I need to modify the cabinet or back wall? Also, will the door open OK (the cabinets on each side are 12 or 13" deep.

QuestionDent, supposed the be there?On the inside back wall of unit mine has a small bumped out part about midway up, size of a pencil head. I suspect damage, husband thinks it's just the mold of the unit???

QuestionHow much pressure does it take to push keypad buttons?Looking for a microwave that has easy to push keypad buttons as some microwave keypads take a lot of force to set the numbers for cooking.

Questionwmh53520ab-1 Vent fan has started running when the microwave is running.For some time since we have had this microwave the vent fan did not run when the microwave was running. It was nice and quiet. One day the vent fan started running when the microwave runs and I can't get it to stop.

QuestionGap fillers for 36" space in the cabinet over the hoodI want to install this microwave over the range but the cut out in the cabinet is 36" wide. I currently have a Kenmore Elite that came with some attachments to cover the 3" gap on each side. Does this Whirlpool Microwave come with any similar kind of covering for the 3" gap on each side?
