Q: QuestionBought the fridge in August 2021, & the water filter light has yet to turn on as of May 2022. I thought it would turn on after 6 months? It’s been well over 8 months. Were we supposed to press the reset button for the water filter when we got the fridge?

• A:Answer Hello XM. We would recommend that you hold the light and ice type at the same time for 3 seconds. If the water filter light does not come on, please call Whirlpool at 866-698-2538. We are available Monday & Tuesday 8:00 am-8:00 pm and Wednesday through Friday 9:00 am-7:00 pm. They will be better able to assist you.

Q: QuestionCan I take my filter out and use city water? I have a water filter system for my drinking water water under my sink. I never use the water from my refrigerator and use very little ice. Thank you very much.

Q: QuestionMy question is on the right door swing, it seems to open very far and very fast then come to a banging stop. I am concerned that this will be an issue. Is there an adjustment i can make to this to not allow it to open so far or slow down?
