“I've had this refrigerator for 3 days and it never stops running. I have it set to 39 for the fridge (2 higher than recommended 37) and 3 for the freezer (3 higher than recommended 0). Higher meaning LESS COLD! Why does it never stop running?!”

These compressors are designed to run 80 % to 90% of the time. This makes them more energy efficient because the greatest amount of energy used when the compressor cycles on.
