A:AnswerThe cooktop is not a downflow top. My microwave oven is above the cooktop and it does an excellent job of clearing out any smoke that is generated from steam or cooking.
A:AnswerThere is no down draft with this cooktop. If you're looking to get rid of the downdraft you need to get the vent out from the under cabinet hood. If you're looking to keep the down draft working as is with this cooktop you need to get the vent supplied from your hood to the down draft vent. Hope it helps.

A:AnswerYes this can be installed if there is enough clearance between the cooktop and the oven.. the cooktop by itself is like 5 inches in height and it has a gas regulator in one of the back corner which needs an extra 6 inches. So if u have enough clearance then u can install..
