QuestionI bought this unit (recirculating unit) only to take it home and find out that we have a vented unit. Can it be modified to not be just a 'recirculating' unit?

QuestionWhat is the distance between the back of the range hood and the top vent opening? I would be installing under a 12" cabinet and want to make sure that the exhaust vent is not blocked by the cabinet. Thank you

QuestionWired to old hood's wires and fan is not working at all. Light works but no fan. I unhooked and wired back to old fan to see if I did it right and old fan still works. There's only 2 wires. Am I doing something wrong or is this item defective?
