    • Best answerheight of washer with lid open is almost 56 inches tall. I have 5 inches of space between the washer and the wall for hoses and connections. The washer is 8 inches deep before it meets the lid. So you will need 13 inches depth from the wall to the washer lid to have clearance. My cabinets are 13 inches deep and the lid leans on the bottom of the cabinet. My cabinets are 54 inches from the floor so the lid leans on the cabinet but I don't have to hold the lid up. Hope this helps. sorry to get back to you so late

  • Q: is this washer an HE, meaning without agitator?  (3 Answers)
This question is for: Whirlpool - 4.8 Cu. Ft. 27-Cycle Top-Loading Washer - White

    By Miami

    • Best answerYes, it is. It is my first experience with an HE washer. It uses a surprisingly small amount of water and just sort of flips the cloths around in a manner you'd think isn't cleaning them well. But the concept is that the water then has a MUCH higher concentration of cleaner in it. The cloths seem to come out clean after all, and it is so gentle that in the dryer there is WAY less lint in the trap and the cloths are noticeably softer. So far so good, had mine for a couple of months now.

  • Q: has anyone washed a king size comforter with this washer?  (2 Answers)

    By Natalie

    • Best answerYes, I washed my kind sized comforter with no problems. Being that the washer doesn't have a big agitator to contend with, just loading the comforter in was a breeze. Before the machine starts it does this "thing" where it spins one way and then the other. I believe it's weighing the load (because it does it every time) and tends to balance it at that time, too. I'd recommend this washer to anyone. It's pretty, too.

  • Q: Does this washer have a 2 stage agitator?  (4 Answers)
This question is for: Whirlpool - 4.8 Cu. Ft. 27-Cycle Top-Loading Washer - White

    By NN2012

    • Best answerHello NN2012, the WTW7500GW has been upgraded with a more efficient agitator-less design. The wash plate at the bottom of the tub allows much less water to be needed. This design calls for the articles being washed to stay in contact with the wash plate so it can rotate and push the articles to the center of the tub where the best cleaning action is.
