A:AnswerXFX mentions the following on their web site regarding this particular graphics card:
Minimum Power Supply Requirement 400 watt
XFX Recommended Power Supply XFX 450W PSU
Based upon their requirements, you should plan to upgrade the power supply to support this graphics card.
A:Answeryes it supports dx12 not the fastest but I use it as a 2 card for another monitor its cheap I bought mine for 120.00 it works fine and for light gaming or low settings its great
for better gaming go 570 or 580 590 more money but more capable. also their are the nvidia like the 1660 their are sites that compare video cards.
A:Answereasy yes those don't pull much power according to tom"s hardware they take under heavy stress about a 103 watts so yes you can run it, a ryzen 3 you should be fine as long as you have a pci express 16 slot and your power supply has a 6 pin power cord it needs external power. the pci express slots are rated at 75 watts and this not a low profile card so if you have a low profile computer this will not work.
A:AnswerYes it will just make sure your power supply has a 6 pin plug for it. IT does require extra power than what the PCI-E slot can provide. its usually tied up with the bundle of wires coming out of the power supply. If it does not then no you will need to get a better power supply. You already meet the uEFI bios requirement to load the drivers.
A:AnswerIf it is standard size case not low profile and has pci express and your power supply does a hundred 100 watts it will work most power supplies will work with that
yes it needs one six pin connector
A:AnswerThis should work fine as long as you have 2 bays available on the back and its a full size case and not a compact case as it takes up a lot of space inside of the case
A:AnswerI do not understand the term "plug". I looked up the specs and it has a pci express 16 v2.0 slot so the card should fit and work correctly. My MB is an ASUS, about 5 years old and the card is working correctly. It is at version 2.0 and the card can be used in a pci express 16 version 3.0 slot. I think the version has to do with the width of memory transfer. However, I would be more concerned about the power supply in this computer. Based on the docs I read, it is only 180 watts. The Radeon card has a 6pin adapter and cable to connect to a 4pin molex connector for additional power to operate, so it is power hungry compared to the onboard graphics. My power supply is 800 watts so not an issue for me. My best guess is that you will need about 450-500 watts power supply to keep this critter happy. Also, HP has a history of using proprietary power supply connectors, so you may not be able to upgrade it easily. It needs some research otherwise buy a new desktop.
A:AnswerDon't really want to get into specific but I would not buy this care either go for a 1660ti or the new 1650 Nvidia GeForce cards . This card is absolute junk and had to return two days in because the fan ended up malfunctioning leading t lo extreme temperatures finally leading to my precision t7820 dell. This is truly the last change in give to amd. Will be sticking to. The better and more efficient Nvidia products
A:AnswerOk this is an easy answer, you are displaying two images on your Oculus rift, one for the right eye and one for the left and you can't change the resolution of the Oculus so I wouldn't necessarily go for an lower Ram 4gb or lower, I would seek something with at least 6gbytes of ram or better I was ok on my rx 480 8gig, but I would dig deep and go for an 570 8 gig or at least an 1060 6gb card.
