A:AnswerThere only needs to be a single HDMI cable from Receiver to TV. All other sources can go to the Receiver. If your TV HDMI input is ARC capable (Audio Return Channel) then the TV's built in apps such as streaming will play audio back to the Receiver over the HDMI cable
A:AnswerYou can use bare speaker wire. The terminals unscrew and the wire can be through a hole and then tightened. I personally put banana plugs on all of my speaker wires which make it so much easier to connect to a receiver

A:AnswerThis receiver can 'pass through' 4k video information only. If you want 8k, you'll have to go from cable box straight to tv with hdmi. I dont think there's any 8k content available yet anyway (6/2020).
A:AnswerI have a set of Klipsch Theater speakers on mine. Works perfect. Although your sub-woofers need to be powered. Wouldn't try Bose. Good speakers, but Proprietary.

WHen playing a stereo signal like music from a CD or even Bluetooth you can change the "Scene" to 2-channel stereo and save different scenes with per-loaded settings for your need. My amp switches to 2-channel stereo listening when i play music over Bluetooth from my phone and when i switch to my living room computer that's hooked up to it switches to virtual surround.
