• It will drive 4 ohm speakers on the front channels, but only 8 ohm on the other channels. There is a setting to configure the fronts at 6 ohms. Set that at 6, (page 19 owner's manual) it will handle 4 ohms too. I'm using 4 ohm Cantons on the front of mine.

• The specs on the Best Buy website state Minimum Impedance 6 ohms, 8 ohms While the Yamaha website lists only 8 hms
