No. No tape outs and ins. It, of course has RCA audios in that you can assign as "Tape". For the out to the Tape to record you could use the front channels pre-outs for standard left and right. You just have to make sure the audio mode on the receiver is set to standard stereo and not music with surround sound (even if it's only emulating surround sound). It may still mess with the audio and split it to all the surround channels. Your "Fronts" left and right would not record correctly as you would be missing the center channel where the voice would be heard from.

So I'd say you would have the input and output you need for a tape deck. In the Yamaha web site, look for the manual for this device and you will see the connections on Page 15 on the bottom left of the rear of the device.
