- Answer Mine does the exact same thing, and getting the ARC feature to jive with my Sony Bravia has been beyond challenging. Finally, after three hours tonight, I was able to get them talking and no issues since, but the decoder detector was clearly drunk.

- Answer I recently purchased this unit. Set it up as a 5.1 surround sound system. Works fantastic, best surround sound system ive ever had. It has legacy video inputs for your older gear. hooked a FM antenna and the local stations came in great. Live that you can Bluetooth to the unit. I would highly recommend this unit.

- Answer The first thing to try is a single connection from the receiver to the sub woofer. Another possibility is to use a single RCA cable from your receiver to RCA splitter cable as in white and red RCA cable that turns into a single cable that connects to your receiver.

QuestionI actually got this receiver today, replace another Yamaha rv373, that stopped working. So I brought it home and a pair of Yamaha nsaw390 speakers. Changed the OHMS to 6. It quit playing after about 5 minutes and will not come back on.
