• A:Answer I do not believe this you can do this. I have a Sony, Denon and this Yamaha. None of the three will do this. On my Sony TV I am able to turn the picture off through the tv settings.

Q: QuestionIs this Yamaha 5.1 4K Ultra HD receiver really what the specs show, 145 watts per channel even at 8ohms? Or is the 145 watts only @ 6ohms?

• A:Answer Do not know but it could be the latter as we attached double cube Bose speakers to it and those specs at 6 ohms were necessary for the speakers.
