Quality5 out of 5Value3 out of 5Ease of Use4 out of 5Pros mentioned:Battery, Buttons, FitZero problems....I have big hands and it fits me well, that includes the button placement. Would 100% recommend this over the 502 lightspeed. (Then again, i got it during cyber Monday sales when they were both $99) charging dock is great, and the rgb is just a plus.

Comfy, large battery life and fully programable.

Quality5 out of 5Value4 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5Pros mentioned:Battery, Buttons, FitExcellent mouse. I love the charging dock, very convenient, the battery lasts a long time, I have been thru long gaming sessions and didn't need to charge it for about 3 days. Their synapse software is very complete, you can tweak things like sensitivity, DPI, lighting, specially, you can choose different colors and patters and the most important thing, the brightness (the less bright, more battery life) and the timeout, which after some time of not moving or using the mouse, it goes to sleep to save more battery (wake up is instantaneous). Ergonomically, the mouse is great, I have small hands and kind of a claw grip and its fantastic, there is plenty of space for bigger hands too. It has several configurable buttons, and one that you can choose as a "sniper" one, which when you press it, it will lower the DPI temporarily for better accuracy. All and all, best mouse I have owned, pricey though, but well worth it, if you can get at discount, like I did, don't hesitate! Oh, and make sure its the version (this one) that comes with the charging dock, I have seen another version around, that is cheaper, but without the charging dock.

Best wireless gaming mouse I’ve had
|Posted .Features
Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5Pros mentioned:Battery, Fit, RgbThe Razer basilisk ultimate has got to be the best mouse I’ve used. The razer hyper speed wireless connectivity provides extremely low latency and I don’t feel any inefficiency in my gaming. I know a lot of players are tried and trued to the wired gaming mouse but I can guarantee you’ll love and appreciate the wireless set up if you pick the basilisk ultimate. For design it’s super ergonomic and is comfortable to hold for long period of gaming. I have the mouse set to full rgb brightness and still get 20ish hours of game time on it. You can probably get even more if you set the rgb colors dimmer. And speaking of RGB you get 14 lighting zones that you can mess around with in razers refreshed synapse program. You can pick a few presets or get down and dirty in the advance lighting options to truly make it personalized to yourself. You can also make set profiles for the mouse too. The scroll wheel is also adjustable. You can change the resistance to your liking. And at the end of the day when your done appreciating the glory that is the razer basilisk, you can place that bad boy on it’s cool rgb charging dock stand. The charging dock uses a sticky almost rubber feet so it isn’t gunna go anywhere or tip over if you try putting the mouse on it. And thanks to razer synapse program you can have the RGB lighting match the mouse. All in all this is a great mouse that won’t upset you. It’s worth the money!

The last wireless mouse you'll need
|Posted .Owned for 1 week when reviewed.Features
Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5I have used a lot of mice in my short period of PC gaming. Coming from console, it took me a while to get used to mouse and keyboard, so having a good mouse was essential. Before the Basilisk Ultimate, I was using the Basilisk X, as it was incredibly light and the wireless form factor gave me plenty of freedom to move, as opposed to using a wired mouse. Now I thought the X was already incredible in its own right, but the Ultimate is leagues better. The improved feet make the mouse glide effortlessly on my cloth mousepad, and the weight makes it feel very light, but just heavy enough to give you the control you'd need in most FPS games. Battery life isn't an issue for me, as leaving the mouse to charge on the dock overnight gives it enough juice to last the whole day, with plenty of power left over. The RGB, paired with Synapse, is very bright and vivid (but you can also dim the lights altogether if that's not your thing). The only gripe I'd probably have is the 3rd side button on the top of the mouse is kind of hard to reach, despite me having relatively large hands. Other than that, the mouse looks great and performs perfectly. I don't see myself changing mice anytime soon.

Q: QuestionDoes this mouse have the option to use while charging other than charging pad
Asked by BigD3.
- A:Answer You can plug the Micro-USB cable into the mouse and use while charging. I do that if I need to top it up, then I will use the dock whenever I leave my desk.

Q: Questioncan the padle be programed to be any button in games?

Q: QuestionCan this be used as a plug and play device or do you have to download software in order to program the buttons
Asked by GhostHunter511.
- A:Answer You can use it as it is, without Razer's Synapse software, no need for it. However if you want to have full control of the lighting, DPI settings, program buttons, lightning timeout (to save more battery) etc, I will highly recommend it. I know many other pieces of software out there are just trash and mostly bloat, however Razer's synapse is good and doesn't bloat or slow down my pc at all. So, I will highly recommend you do install it.

Q: QuestionIs one of the wireless connection types through a USB dongle?
Asked by Atomic.
- A:Answer The wireless connector can be plugged into the charging port and the charging port is then plugged into a USB port for wireless connection. You can also connect the wireless receiver directly into a USB port. Both will work.
