Q: Questiondoes the base model 4k OLED screen support hdr 400 like the advanced model and does the screen reach the same max brightness of 600 nits?
Asked by manny.
- A:Answer It is hdr 100 percent, all 15.6 oleds are identical they are made by Samsung. I cannot tell you numbers on the brightness, but I can tell you I was sitting in my bedroom with the lights off, reading a dark webpage, and it turned to white full screen and it flash banged me, I couldn't see and my eyes started watering because of the brightness. It gets brighter than my s 20 ultra cell phone.

Q: QuestionWhile doing my research on this laptop, I've read a lot of reviews on how hot this laptop gets while gaming and need to use a cooling pad. Does it get really hot just for everyday use, photo and video editing?
Asked by Moose.
- A:Answer This laptop gets very hot when gaming and if they gotten rid of one M.2 slot they could of extended the battery life of this machine, for me was the oled display I do graphic design too that’s why I have a external display, to dissipate heat I have a cooling pad, and placed fujipoly extreme pads on hot areas like CPU VRM GPU GDDR5 RAM etc I also have it touching the aluminum back plate, I also added condoctunaut liquid metal on both cpu and gpu with conformal coating so it won’t mess up anything and so far it’s has run better when playing games I run doom eternal maxed out at 35c (flir cam )

Q: QuestionDoes this version have per key RGB or zone RGB?

Q: QuestionIs the body/frame metal?
Asked by Dcav.
- A:Answer Metal and a cooling pad is highly advisable as there are those that say under heavy usage it get hot. While the definition of hot varies by person suffice it to say they become uncomfortable in your lap under heavy Rendering / Game playing? conditions. I have a similar heat problem with my Asus GL702 so I always have a cooling pad running. These are pretty powerful computers for laptops even though the manufacturer under volts these a pinch (per reviews) they still get hot . Not a lot of room in these thin laptops for fans big enough to keep them cool under heavy compute use - Look at the cooling fan or water cooling systems on desktops using these kind of CPU / GPU setup's !!!

Q: QuestionHas anyone faced issues with burn-in on this OLED panel? If yes, can you kindly let me know after how long did you notice it. Thanks
Asked by Gavin.
- A:Answer I've had it for three months now and have left it open on one page for hours at a time on multiple occasions (as well as doing tons of gaming). No burn in at all.

Q: QuestionHow is the base RAM configuration on this device? How many slots are there and how many are filled out of the box?
Asked by fireb0lt.
- A:Answer There are two 8GB Dual channel ram in both slots the i7 on this machine can support up to 64 Gb of ram, I upgraded to 32 GB Corsair Vengeance ram and I gets super hot because it’s aluminum , my advice for that is to place fujipoly extreme pads on the VRM of the cpu and on the GDDR 5 Memory on the gpu and use liquid metal on both the gpu and cpu you may wanna spray “silicone modified conformal coating” around the gpu so it won’t mess up the other components there’s also two m.2 slots but the battery life sucks there’s a empty spot inside the chassis that they could of extended the battery life, if it wasn’t for my technical knowledge I would of returned this machine ... but the OLED display is just soo nice even for games
