4 stars or 5? I went with 5
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So I did a test using this product on my YouTube channel. https://youtu.be/JiJTdnLJ0bM I am constantly looking for new ways to test the audio quality on this microphone system. Comment on my video if you dare and talk to me live. I am also on Snapchat "Jonasegway". You can hit me up on there to ask further questions for more details on this kit. I like it. I won't say I use it alot because I have a few "good" audio equipment to use for various types of filming. Anyways, talk to you soon guys.

Nice To Have One
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This really cool to have one. I gave 4 because based on my experience when I am talking and just turn left or right or turn around the sound is cutting off. But if you’re going to use it straight, this is perfect mic to use.

This Mic bundle is a GAMECHANGER
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve been a long time user of the Rode SmartLav lapel mic. I use it all the time recording field audio and video. I’ve been in the market for a wireless microphone system. When Rode announced the Wireless Go microphone system at the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) show, I jumped on it immediately. Slim form factor, simple setup, and a name I trust. Summary I recommend the Rode Wireless Go. I’m happy with the form factor, quality, and audio results. Key wins for me: Transmitter & receiver are pre-paired out of the box. You’re up and running in minutes. Super-slim form factor Flexibility with the built-in microphone or external mic (like the SmartLav) Good range in the field US$199 The only gotcha is maintaining line of sight between the transmitter and receiver. This is called out on Rode’s website. I was a little surprised at the sensitivity to line of sight. Watch the video for more.

Great for Filming Videos with our Sony Camera!
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I use this with our Sony - Alpha a6400 Mirrorless 4K Video Camera with E 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 OSS Lens and it works great! Pros: It records the audio on the video file, so I don't have to match the audio with the video files when I edit them. It can reach quite a ways, recording my husbands voice clearly when I am too far away to hear what he is saying. As long as the batteries are charged when we start a project, we have very little trouble with them going dead on us. (I'd guess they last an hour or two pretty easily.) Cons: Although it works fine with our 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 OSS Lens, if my husband is far enough away that I need to use our bigger zoom lens, it is too far away for this microphone to get signal. Although it works great as long as my husband is facing the camera, if he turn his back to the camera it can cause glitches in the audio (His voice will cut out for a second, then I'll hear it again when he turns back around. I especially notice this when he gets farther away from me.) We've found that it gets much better signal clipped to the brim of his hat than it does clipped in his shirt pocket. Although it picks up the voice clearly of one person, everyone else is quieter. So if you want more than one voice recorded, you'd probably want more than one camera with a microphone on each person. In summary, this was a great investment and I'd highly recommend it to anyone who is videoing something where they need to hear a voice clearly. I have even clipped it to the fence next to our bird feeder and got clear bird chipping sounds when I was videoing song birds!

Q: QuestionHow many come in the system? Can you connect two of these mic's to an Iphone 8plus in order to do an on-camera interview?
Asked by Ness.
- A:Answer one transmitter and one receiver. You can not connect two systems to one iPhone. Now you could use two of these systems and connect them to a separate recorder, like a Zoom or a Tascam.

Asked by LA.
- A:Answer Peace, it will work; but you need a TRS to TRRS converter cable, as well as the dongle to convert TSSR to lightning. I would assume thats another $25

Q: QuestionHow can you connect the mic to clothing? Does it weigh down clothing?
Asked by ChickyChick.
- A:Answer With built-in transmitter clip, it's light enough to wear like a lavalier, clipped to shirt... It'll be bulkier so visible, but very light so will not sag. I've also used medical tape to tape it to my body under the shirt and sound quality still good. Finally, don't forget that it has a 3.5m input jack port for attaching a traditional Lavalier to it.
