When I rate this as "average," what I really mean is average for a couple of decades ago. Web cams have looked the same for literally decades; the only difference is how much space the vids take up. If you play with the settings (and with your own lighting) you can get a passable image, but - again - you'd get pretty much the same out of a webcam a third the price or one from a decade ago bought for a few bucks at a yard sale. 4K here only means how large the picture is; understand, it has nothing to do with actual image quality. With much more tinkering, perhaps it'd get better, but it's not been worth my time.

We bought this webcam to fit into a relatively small space, which other logitech webcams failed due to their large legs. This cam has very high definition that can shot up to 4k. No jitter was found in the videos captured: it's much better than other logitech webcams. One concern is that the USB cable is not built into the back of the cam. Instead, a standard USB cable is used. I worry with frequent moving of the cam, the female USB connector at the back of cam may become lose.

The Logitech website says this is compatible with ChromeOS but that compatibility does not include the features I wanted, pan, tilt, zoom etc. because that requires separate SW that only runs on Windows and Mac. I'm annoyed because that seems deceptive. Logitech customer service has been useless, combative, and asked "what do you plan on doing". OTOH, the image quality is good and no complaints on the audio. I chose not to recommend from a ChromeOS perspective.

If you need a crystal clear image of yourself from the webcam, this the way to go. The zooming is incredible. The background is clear. I'm not a real expert in camera stuff but this webcam in my opinion is one of the best on the market at this time. I really enjoy it.

Awesome For Streaming. Not Gritty At All, Perfect For Face Caming. The Mic Is Not So Great Though

Bought this for work obviously for all the meetings. It is awesome. Microphone is worth it alone even if you are not using the camera function. It is awesome and worth it. Mounts to my Dell monitor very well and easily. Sits just on top.

At first the quality didn’t seem as clear as my c910 using the included software. However, in Zoom meetings, I noticed my image seemed much clearer than others and even touched up significantly. I am satisfied with this camera very much!

This is my 3rd webcam, and by far, the Logitech Brio exceeds the quality and performance of every webcam on the market. You don't get their weird fisheye effect, and the video sis rock solid, crystal clear. Far and away, worth the extra few bucks to get a camera of this quality.

This is fantastic web camera. The picture quality is the best I have ever had. Works well with included software. Would recommend to a friend, Will buy two more one for home and one for work.

This webcam is solid evidence that I am a lazy hedonist. I didn't buy it because I do any streaming, or any video recording at all, for that matter, aside from the occasional videoconference. No, I bought it because I can't be bothered anymore to enter a 4 digit PIN on my desktop when I log in, and I wanted the same Windows Hello facial recognition that I have on my laptop. Turns out, this is the only readily available commercial device that works with Windows Hello. $200 later, I'm in facial recognition heaven. Was it worth it? No. But also, yes.

Quite expensive compared to other webcams. Picture quality is good: no fish-eyeing, no washing out of backgrounds, 3 fields of view up to 90 degrees. Seems to get hot when doing high resolution recording. Audio quality is okay but older/cheaper webcams were better. Without processing by apps like Teams and Zoom, the microphone is too sensitive and picks up computer fan noise even when you play with the microphone input strength. Speaking of which, all the settings are difficult to access and only available after installing a proprietary Logitech app. The redeeming feature is Windows Hello. But if using on a laptop that already has Hello-capable camera built-in, you have to disable the IR sensor to use the Brio's. So when you undock, you won't have Windows Hello unless you go back into device config and enable the IR sensor.

Great camera with excellent quality, software options to configure camera settings are a plus. Use this camera on a MacBook Pro with Zoom and was super easy to setup, definitely recommend for those looking for a high quality webcam that is future proof and supports USB 3.0 and 4k.
