It works fine at a bargain price

Call it semi-compact. It's the only wireless mouse I've owned so can't really offer any comparison. I'm using it with a Chromebook I bought for portability and as an emergency backup to my desktop. I find it quite handy for that purpose...much better than the touch-pad.

This product totally changed my mind. A salesman at Best Buy actually helped fit me with an appropriate Mouse for my small hands.
