I had originally bought this because my TV ran out of HDMI ports and I thought this product would add more HDMI ports. Well, this is not the case. This is an HDMI splitter that creates two HDMI outputs with one HDMI signal. THIS IS NOT AN HDMI SWITCH. You will need an HDMI switch if you are in my situation. I can see the use for this product but just wanted to throw this out there in case others are having the same issues.

After trying the cheap devices on Amazon without success I found this one. Worked perfect out of the box! Could have avoided a lot of frustration if I'd known about it beforehand.

I use it to split my screen for my switch! It does just that. It does require a power cord (power cord comes with), but if you can afford the space on an outlet this item will work amazingly for you!

I thought I would try it anyway. I wanted to be able to sync the TV at the back of the basement with the projector at the front so that when we were watching the big game nobody would miss a second of it. Once I got the HDMI cables in place, I fired it up. It took about 15 seconds for both outputs to finally show a picture, but once they did we were up and running. No lag at all between the two outputs, and no loss of quality on either of the outputs. I am overjoyed with the result. One tip: don’t cheap out on the HDMI cables. Purchase the high quality ones. It will make a difference.

The projector has no output, so I needed to get the one HDMI signal to the two components. The answer: a Rocketfish splitter. Boom, sound and picture, as clear as can be. Easy, well priced and the perfect solution.

Picture Quality is great had to trouble shoot a little because of my set up at home. Connected it to audio receiver and two 4K TVs. Don’t know how I did it but made it work. Would buy again if I needed too.
