I thought SS on the motherboard is all that matters. Nope. Plug your USB 3+ devices in with this cables and you will finally have real, maximum data bandwidth and speed. My audio interface was slow amd choppy. Used this cable... zoom zoom! USB drives... 300+MB/s transfer rates instead of 70-100. See photos for thickness difference.

Despite her car being only two years old, it only has USB-A as a connector to the Infotainment system. There is a USB-C plug for the rear passengers but that is only for power it would seem. This cable works like a charm and didn't break the bank!

Bought it to charge my iPhone 15 and connect to Apple car play in my truck and it does the job. The thickness of the cable keeps it in place, so it doesn’t drop down into the floorboard or get down into the seats. I don’t use it for large data transfers so can’t speak to that.

Well made and gets the job done

It's easy to install and use. I bought this to connect an external hard drive and have had not issues with transferring files or connectivity. The only thing I would change is make the cord a bit more flexible.
