Having an older computer, 3.0 did not work. It shut down computer operations. Finally understanding the difference, ordering 2.0 solved the problem, enabling connection to my laptop of mouse, scanner, and black-and-white printer.

I have all sorts of stuff plugged into my laptop and monitor, mouse, speakers, ethernet the list goes on and on lol. This was exactly what I needed and the lady that helped me knew exactly what I needed. I took my laptop in and said I need "these" to connect to "this". She knew what I needed to make it happen.
