Did quite a bit of internet shopping before getting this when it was on sale. It's graphics card and cpu are getting dated now, but overall build quality on these legion machines is really solid. Not overloaded with bloat, ran well out of the box. Plenty of tinkering room too. Love the keyboard, the screen, and it drives everything I want to run on it smooth like butter. Very nice machine, and no issues with it what so ever after a couple of months, for what that's worth. Worth the $$.

This thing is NICE! Everything about it screams quality, and the system came with minimal bloat. The screen is 16:10 which took some getting used to, but colors pop and it's super crisp. There's an inaccuracy in the listing though, there is no ethernet port. CPU tends to bounce in and out of thermal throttle at 97C, but with this much power in such a slim laptop, I kind of expected that. Manual fan curve in Lenovo Vantage made a huge difference, and I'm waiting on delivery of a laptop cooling pad which should solve the issue completely. Additionally, be prepared to tweak both CPU and GPU further, there is a ton of power here, but stock does not seem to be configured to take advantage of it, likely to keep thermals down.

I've had this laptop now for about 3 weeks and so far it's been great! I love the Legion brand and also game on my Legion 7i tower. But, I wanted to also replace my aging HP Omen, so I went w/another Legion product since my desktop has been flawless.
I know it's purely subjective, but I absolutely love the white color of this laptop!! So far, no issues playing my game on high settings. Granted, I mostly just play RTS games, WOW and Hogwarts Legacy, but I am loving this laptop! I'd definitely recommend checking it out!

The Lenovo Legion 7i is a stunning gaming laptop with a sleek Glacier White finish and impressive performance. The 14th Gen Intel Core i7 and RTX 4060 handle demanding games and multitasking with ease, while the 16" WQXGA display looks sharp and vibrant. It boots up fast and runs smoothly thanks to the 1TB SSD and 16GB of memory. My only issue is with the Wi-Fi connection, which can be a bit inconsistent at times. Despite that, it's a great machine overall for gaming and productivity.

Overall: good
Performance: good
Battery: not good, charge while work not reaching to 100percent. I don’t know exact technicality about this.
Heating issues: not much heat, but there is a temperature around the power button.
Multitasking: hassle free of doing multiple works simultaneously.
Display: vibrant display, I hope no one will disappoint with brightness.
Upgrade: this laptop is future proof and upgradable.
Sound: little disappointed about the speakers.
Security: i love to having fingerprint reader and power button to be same.
Storage: Ample amount of storage with 1tb.

Overall very happy with the product for the price. My only complaint is the low battery life but that is to be expected while running high-graphic games and software. I love the clean look of the white and it looks very professional and not just your typical gaming laptop. Additionally, I like the option to upgrade some of the memory etc. to enhance its performance if that's what you're looking for. A lot of customizable options and the graphics are beautiful. So far I have run God of War, Ghosts of Tushima and Lords of the Fallen with no issue except for a slight lag the first time you open these applications.

The laptop has a premium aluminum body, cool to the touch. Lenovo software has a "quiet mode" that really brings the fan blowing volume to a quiet whisper to almost non-existent (at the cost of some performance that I didn't notice in daily tasks).
The lack of 1-star is the RealTek wi-fi card that the unit came with. The bluetooth connection will drop your connected devices randomly.
Also, the quantity of ports seem to decrease/change since the 2018 laptop I bought.

Bought for speed and expandability

I bought this on sale for a combination of both work and gaming.
The main thing I was looking for was expandability - and that was for the work side. A lot of what I do uses memory like crazy and being able to upgrade on my own without paying a premium was nice. It is now sitting with 64 GB of Kingston Fury (5600) in it and a secondary WD Black 2 TB data SSD that I added myself.
It does seem to have decent battery life as long as I'm not gaming / using the 4060 GPU etc. at full power. If I am gaming then it really does need to be plugged in if since it seemed to only last about 45 minutes (I didn't time it - just a guesstimation) running everything at full blast / highest settings.
Heat doesn't seem to be a problem and even though it does get warm when gaming - very warm - but never passed the max thermal levels for any of the components. For work use heat isn't bad and either way when using it at home, I keep it on a laptop cooler.
I do like the display and seems fine with an external monitor hooked up to it also. Sound is okay but a bit "tinny". I haven't tried tweaking the sound settings or anything though.
One thing you should do if you purchase is check for and perform any / all updates. Mine not only had the normal and expected Windows updates pending but also a Lenovo / firmware update.
Overall satisfied and hoping to get at least several years or so of use.

This laptop is everything I expected for the cost. I haven’t had any real issues with the device. For working or playing I would give it a 5 out of 5 but the battery life could be better, I don’t think it has ever made it to 8 hours without playing even. The screen is awesome. The keyboard is fine. I can’t say much about the how the pad works since I use a mouse 99% of the time.

Hey AlexandraL,
Thank you for choosing Lenovo and for sharing your feedback with us!
Regarding your issue with battery – as you may know there are lots of variables that contribute to battery and in gaming laptops that can increase even more due to their high-powered processors and graphics cards. If you want to squeeze out more battery life and are completing non-intensive graphics tasks, you can utilize the MUX switch built into this model to turn off the dedicated GPU to greatly decrease power draw. This can be done in the Lenovo Vantage app > top right box > GPU working mode, then choosing your preferred method. Users can also take advantage of the keyboard shortcut, Fn + Q to toggle thermal modes and easily switch between prioritizing battery life or power, or even the best of both words, along with custom settings configurable in Lenovo Vantage. You could also press the Fn + R key combo to toggle to a lower refresh rate for even more power conservation.
We are glad to hear that otherwise you couldn't be happier with your Legion 7i.
Please feel free to reach out to us should you have any questions.

OMG I LOVE this laptop. I do not game, but I do run payrolls and have 20 tabs and/or programs open at the same time. This computer handles it! Visual is awesome, touch-to-wake is convenient and battery lasts about 4 hours, PLUS takes only 45min to an hour to FULLY charge! Very helpful at conferences or meetings. The white is hard to keep clean and metal jewelry will transfer “scratches” that can be wiped off.

Absolutely inlove, the associate who helped me make an educated purchase absolutely hit all I needed, I do light gaming as well as school and work on my laptop and other than the color I love, how light, easy set up and all the ports it has available for me.
