The headphones are great for gaming, I do somewhat notice sound is bit more crispy in CS2. Pretty comfy as well. I'm not a huge audiophile so listening to music sounds fine. If price is a factor.. There are better options that I have used (AKG K712 Pro, beyerdynamic 770/990, Sennheiser (Drop PC38X), etc.). Only reason I bought the Astro A50 this time was because I wanted something different and the bluetooth/wireless was something I waited years to try. I would recommend to use a different mic/studio mic. I have never used the microphone because I hear bad things about the microphone, and have also heard how bad it sounds from my friends when they used the microphone.

The Logitech A50 LIGHTSPEED Gen 5 headset is honestly awesome. The sound quality is super clear and immersive, whether you’re gaming, watching videos, or chatting with friends. You can hear footsteps and small details really well, which makes a big difference in competitive games. It’s really comfortable too—even during long gaming sessions—and the wireless connection is rock solid with no noticeable lag. The base station is a nice touch since it keeps the headset charged and makes switching between Xbox, PS5, PC, or Switch really easy. Mic quality is clear, battery life is great, and overall it just feels premium and well-built. If you want a high-end wireless headset that works across multiple systems without hassle, this one’s totally worth it.

Im still having trouble finding the right spot for in game and chat volume other than that I have no issues with it. Comfy loud the base is really nice to have.

This has to be the best headset I've ever owned. No wire or dongle swapping when switching between consoles and/or PC. Simultaneous Bluetooth from your phone while gaming. If you plan on using this for multiple consoles you'll have to get additional USB cables for each one, as it only comes with one. Otherwise you have to switch the one USB which defeats the purpose of this headset. Range is decent. I can usually get 40 ft away before it cuts out. And then the main culprit is the fridge. If I'm fast enough when I grab a beer it won't lose connection LOL. My only complaint is not knowing which device the headset is set to without looking at the base station. It has one button you toggle through to change devices. Ideally it should have a slider or something that you can check without having to get up and look at the base station. For that reason, I downgraded from 6 stars to 5 !

Very comfortable, wireless fidelity is great, and the battery life is impressive. The charging dock looks good and ensures the headset is always ready to go. Just be aware that they are not noise cancelling (personally I don’t care about that). Overall a great product if you don’t mind spending the money.

12Sep2025 Pros: Best wireless headset I could find for the price. The mic quality is good, the audio is good, the price is better since the removal of the HDMI. Range is good, better than I expected. Cons: The mic can only be used on the left side, the range of motion doesn't allow it to come down in both directions. Coming from a pair of Sennheisers, I'm not overly impressed with the A50 batteries, and I expect them to be tricky to change out when the time comes. Also, the dock requires the headset always be placed in the same orientation, not sure why they couldn't make it reversible. Clamping force of the headset is a bit firm, with no way to adjust, but I expect it to loosen up after a few weeks.

The Astro A50 is easily one of the best headsets I’ve used. Setup is simple, and switching between console and PC is quick and smooth. You will need an extra USB-C cable if you want to avoid swapping the base station connection between devices, but once you’ve got that, it’s seamless. The sound quality is fantastic — rich detail with strong bass that makes games, music, and voice chat all sound amazing. What really surprised me, though, is the mic. It’s easily the clearest and most natural-sounding microphone I’ve had on any headset. My friends immediately noticed the difference in call quality.

Bought for son he loves the comfy fit and the range of wireless and long batt life, only complaint is the top of adjustable slide may pull hair, but u can buy a Velcro cover for five bucks.

Title says it all. I use this for my phone, ps5 and pc. Just literally a touch of a button and it will sync to any device I need. They get loud if you like it loud. Bass is crazy. The app basically makes you have full control over EQ settings as if you’re tuning a sub. Literally couldn’t ask for a better headset. And don’t forget….extremely comfortable

The Sounds on the A50 is really clear and good clean base and fit good and comfortable. Good enough to wear for a good session wile playing with friends online.

It works as advertised, the charging station works properly and the conncetions are solid. I can hear well and the battery life runs a good while.

Comfortable, connect quickly, and reliable. Had a pair of the older A50 and really enjoyed them too lasted me about 2 years and hoping to get longer for these!

Love this sound quality is amazing only issue i have is charging it. It has to be in an exact position to charge and can be a pain, cant just put it on the dock and walk away. For the price you'd think it would be easy. But other than that it sounds great soft ears it is not noise canceling

Always heard about the headset but never looked into it at all but my last headset broke and i needed a new one. I was looking at the Nova 7 pro at first but wanted a headset with great sound quality and a great mic. The Nova 7 didnt have the best mic but then i remembered the A50 and after looking into decided to give it a try and i was not disappointed at all. The mic sounds very clear and great while the audio is amazing to go with it. The price feels high but i would say its more then worth if if you take care of it.

Amazing headset. Very comfortable and it doesn’t press down on your head too much making it wearable for hours on end.Also the mic quality is crystal clear my friends can hear me clearly. I would definitely buy again.

I have been using a pair of Sennheiser Game One's for close to a decade. The sound and mic could not be beat. I played mostly Counter-Strike and the directional sound on the Game Ones were AMAZING, footsteps - CLEAR, so good. Well eventually they broke. I pulled on the cable on accident and lost sound. I bought the current version of them on drop and unfortunately, whatever they're doing on their construction of them is garbage. I had two pairs from Drop that died within a few months from barely even tugging on the cable. I NEEDED WIRELESS. Luckily these bad boys made it to the market just in time. I had tried an older pair of A50s back in the day but the sound was awful. I went through many brands. Basically every "good" headset that was at Best Buy, I bought and gave a shot at home point. Nothing was as good as the Game Ones, which is why I ended up using them for almost a decade. I went in and grabbed these since reviews from "audiophiles" were coming in with high regard. Tried these out, and boy were they right. The sound is very close to the Game Ones. Maybe a little compressed, but pretty dang good overall. The microphone is outstanding for a wireless. My friends on Discord have said that the Mic quality is impressive. Though these things are quite expensive (double what I would normally pay), the trade off to be wireless is worth it.

The good... the headset is very comfortable and lightweight. Sound quality is crisp and clean with great immersion. The bad... the headset can run a little small. I have a larger head, so I had to adjust to the largest size for a proper seal around my ears. If you are a basshead, like me, you will find the headset lacking sub bass that, honestly, cheaper alternatives offer. (Unless you get some wicked cushions or leather ear cups) The biggest drawback for this headset, for me, was that you have to spend a ton of time getting it to sound great. Out of the box sound is a little to be desired. I ended up swapping these for steelseries pros
