Best TV ever

I upgraded from another Sony Bravia, but this one is far superior. The color rendition is superb and the black level is fantastic. My wife even noticed and she doesn't pay attention to things like that. I compared it to others in the showroom and nothing else came close.

It was our first electronics purchase experience with Best Buy. Watched many reviews on Youtube before deciding to get the Sony Bravia 8 ii. It is quite a difference between the two products. The SDR is noticeable better on the Sony, along with gaming. The visual HDR in gaming is very noticeable as the Sony gives better colors and pop. I watch 4k HDR Youtube videos, and when i put the picture in Cinema Mode, wow oh wow I couldn't believe how great the picture quality is on this TV. I'm sticking with Sony, I only went with the LG C5 bc it was going to be my bedroom TV. I'm so glad that i upgraded.

I have it in a room that gets a lot of sunlight with the windows behind it. It reduces reflection really well using dolby vision bright and vivid. Thr picture is amazing and the black levels are the best I've seen even in bright rooms. I replaced a 2018 LG C8 OLED and this TV is worth every penny at 3K. I also switched out all my cables including Ethernet cables with high end audioquest cables (apple TV, ps5, bose ultrasound bar) and noticed a significant difference with picture/sound clarity/streaming clarity. If you buy a Sony at this price point, spend the extra money for high cables to maximize performance ($50-$70 a pop). I look forward to years enjoying my favorite movies as well as gaming experience with ps5.

This is our 3rd Sony OLED in 5 years-not because they fail but our 3rd because the picture quality makes quantum leaps every year! Watching 4K movies on DVD is our primary form of home entertainment and the picture quality of this Bravia 8 65" just stands head and shoulders above the Korean brands. SONY-THE ONE AND ONLY! That advertising slogan was true in the 1970's and it is just as true today. Coupled with a state of the art Sony Dolby Atmos sound system and with the center "screen as a speaker" activated-well....it is the finest entertainment system we have ever owned!

I can't speak about the audio because I have Sonos surround system. A bit pricey but worth it when you get it set to the way you want, it's made me say you can't get much better than that a few times hope this helps.

Too bad this did not come in 77' version. Also, I wish Sony would dress up their stands with a robust center mount with nice finish. Current models are very basic aesthetically. Not everyone mounts their screens on walls Sony. The remote could be ergonomically improved too. A lot of wasted space that could be utilized.

I’ve opted for a nice soundbar but the screen emanating sound was very clear. Wish it had another HDMI 2.1 port as it only has two; something gamers may want to consider. All-in-all I purchased this pricey OLED for its clarity, color quality, brightness and Sony’s reputation for reliability.
