I Love the Drone its so easy to fly especially since it hooks with GPS/Satellites when outside. So when you take your hands off the controls it will just hover in place!!! Also if you are flaying it and get turned around or loose site of it you can hit the Home button and it will fly home and land where it originally took off from. I am a beginner and it is so much easier to fly than the $99.00 one my girlfriend got me last year. I Love it!!!

I have to say I bought this because of the low BB price and chance to try another brand of drone. I feel its like an elephant in the air. So big,loud,clunky and heavy. It does have some speed more then I believed it to have so that is a plus.The controller seems cheap and on screen app telemetry hard to read during flight. The back pack was a nice bonus to this package. I have to say another drone brand may be a better option as the whole package of the other brand is just better all around. I fly the other brand and it is night and day. DJI Phantom 3 advanced and DJI Mavic Pro.

I remember seeing this drone in my local BB over a year ago and thinking "that is a beautiful product!". I just didn't want to pay $1000 for it - plus another $400 for that essential gimbal. This sale price was perfect! I have flown it 4 times since I purchased it, and it has been stellar. It's quite cold up here in Alaska at the moment, so I can't objectively rate battery life (about 13 minutes now, hopefully better in the summer). If you own a GoPro 3+ Black up to a 4 Black, this is an excellent buy.

Easy uses and excellent performance; although I got a speed limitation and delay of 0.003 of a second to stop or change it to a position of the flying direction. It has excellent performance. I love GoPro environment and use of the GoPro integrated into the gimbal is just an easy swap in between shoots and no worries or changing the memory to located wich is first. Definitely a no brainer if you have a GoPRO 3-4 action camera already. Flies like a dream (wish it got a bit more range) and super simple unlike the other DJI brand where we got to be careful with the CSC and all that. Not to mention their horrific firmware updating procedure that can kill your quadcopters! One of the best value out there at the moment. Flies great, looks great, IS great!

At this price, this is the best value drone for beginner. It came with gimbal, controller, a backpack, one smart battery and 4 pairs of propellers. It is advisable to purchase an additional smart battery and propellers since both are currently on sale. The GPS lock takes a little longer than I would have expected but it is an easy upgrade to replace the stock GPS module.

Really an amazing deal with the installed gimbal and the backpack. There's no better price for a drone of this quality with these accessories at even twice the price. Highly recommend.

Excellent price for the Solo. Bought one when they first came out for way more. Gimbal all ready installed. Backpack came with landing pad as well.

This is my second 3DR solo drone and I can tell you with confidence that this is a great drone. What makes this an awesome drone are the pre-programmed smart shots. This drone was originally $1000 but they stopped manufacturing consumer drones and decided to stick with industrial drone but 3DR still supports their consumer solo drone. I love the idea of one platform and it's future proof because it's upgradeable. I got mine for $299 with gimbal and backpack which is a really good deal.

Super easy to fly. I love it. And for the price. Complete steal. I read reviews and saw that they are no longer making this drone. Some people are against buying it for that reason. I said screw it, there's always eBay to sell or buy spare parts. ;0)

I picked up the 3DR Solo a few weeks ago and is very satisfied with the quad copter. What really attracted me to the 3DR Solo was the ease of use that way you can focus on the shot without worrying about the drone itself during flight. Also you can't beat the price with bundle you'll get a leather backpack with foam insulation to protect your investment as well as room for remote, spare propellers, batteries etc.....

The 3DR Solo drone is amazing. I have been flying RC airplanes and helicopters for over 40 years and all I can say is wow. I have yet to use all the features of the drone but it is easy to fly. My son flew it for the first time no problem. The gimbal and the backpack make it a complete package that you can grab and go. Fly safe

This is a great drone if you want to film, it's fast, can turn on a dime and the camera is as good as you want it to be! ( it works with several choices of GoPro Cameras ) Its programmable so you can control all The functions or just let the computer control them all! It is very stable and a great deal at Best Buy.

In every respect this drone meets or exceeds my expectations. Stable, responsive, sufficient battery life.

Rhinestone has features that make it easy to fly. The built in flight patterns are enough to make capturing great shots pretty easy. The controls can get a little finicky sometimes and battery life could be a little better but with practice you can learn the nuances of flight. Also I would recommend buying more batteries as I did to enjoy flying for more than 15 - 18 minutes.
