    Solid metal and plug directly into wall outlet which is nice. But very weak air movement. Good to cool an AV cabinet which is what I use it for. But not good as a personal fan.

    7 inches means the diameter of the entire fan blades. Quite small. The fan needs to be placed directly in front of you and up close too

    Its decent if you have it on a desk blowing in your face but doesn't have velocity if you put 10ft of distance between you and the fan.

    Works well, but tends to leak some of the internal oil which didn't smell good while fan was running. Might just be my unit though.
