We always use Geek Squad when we have anything installed from Best Buy. They are always professional and thorough. They always confirm what we want done and explain what they are going to do and why. They explain the function very well and make sure we understand everything and don't have any questions before they leave. I highly recommend their services.

I bought a nice theater system and when I moved the HDMI cable from the blue ray to the surround processor I lost the remote that the TV was utilizing , and since I bought a 7/2 system, optical sound from the TV wouldn't do it because that's 5/2 ,, so I bought the remote and had the Geek squad come and set it up ,, there is absolutely no way I would have been able to do what he did ,, not even if I spent the whole day on it ,,

When the G.S. techs came out to program my remote as well as mount my 75" flat screen, everything seemed to be working……until shortly after they left. They came out 3 times to finally resolve a very tricky issue, so I'm grateful for their persistence and know-how!

Installer set up the TV, sound bar & remote. Remote didn't work as it should. He recommended we exchange it for one that didn't have a touch screen. We returned the original remote & were going to get the other model but it would have cost another $150 for them to come back out to set it up. This was after being told we wouldn't be charged so we didn't get a remote at Best Buy. Had Comcast come out & set up our cable remote that works great.

I HAD A HARMONY REMOTE FOR YEARS AND IT WAS SHOWIN G IT’S AGE SO DECIKDED TO GET ANOTHER ONE. NOW THEY HAVE ONE THAT USES BATTERIES BUT I DECIDED TO STICK WITH THE ONE THAT HAS A CHARGER SINCE I HAS SUCH GOOD LUCK WITH MY FIRST. DON’T KNOW IF IT WAS THE TECH OR IF IT IS THE REMOTE BUT DO NOT ALWAYS GET IMMEDIATE RESPONSE AND NOT ALWAYS THE CORRECT RESPONSE. WISH I HAD GONE WITH THE BATTERY VERSION

Amazing technology. A couple of issues have developed since the programming: TV doesn’t turn off completely with the harmony remote. It turns to a light blue glow. I have to turn it off with the TV remote. Also, after watching a movie, it won’t change from HDMI 2 back to HDMI 1 to watch TV . Seems to reset itself overnight.

An in-home advisor/consultant came to my house and looked at my needs. He recommended components that I needed, placed the order from my home, set up delivery and the Geek Squad installation. Except for a small glitch in the installation schedule, I am very pleased with my Best Buy experience. Best Buy went out of their way to solve my install issue in a timely fashion.

I have the geek squad come to install my new harmony elite remote control and I was glad that I did . The gentleman was extremely knowledgeable and took his time and was patient in going through all the steps with my system to fix it and program it to the elite program if you are not very tech savvy I recommend getting the geek squad crew out to your house to take care of any installation
