I would recommend you to let best buy program the remote for you.

The agents set this up (it has to be configured with a computer on site) nicely, and then patiently gave me a "tour," of the device so I could immediately get to watching and not struggle with "How does this thing work?"

Very pleased with this service performed by the Geek Squad Agents. It was easy to see they knew exactly what needed to be done and how to do it. The brief instruction on how to use the technology new to us was extremely helpful.

Absolutely the worst customer service ever. What happened to the Best Buy that I remember? Not once but twice they were a no show for a new home theater remote and programming service. The window is 7 to 7. Last Wednesday was cancelled cuz they scheduled geek squad instead of the specialized home theater people. Never bothered to let me know it was cancelled. Today I called at 9 am to get a closer ETA. Never got one. Then at 6:45 pm today the home theater company called me to tell me Best Buy screwed up again (something about not getting them the remote ) and they had to cancel. And waited almost 12 hours to tell me. I am so done with Best Buy.

The service agents were excellent. They were quick,and worked well together. They cleaned up the unneeded refuse,and hauled it with them. They had to schedule a unit to take away my old T.V. because it was so large.

The agents reprogrammed my Harmony remote after one of the components, an older DVD/VCR unit, would not operate correctly. The agents were on time, polite, practiced appropriate safe/social distancing measures, and nice to work with.

my remote worked for a while and then I had the same problem this time it is occasionally I wounded if this is the reason why they stoped making this product I don’t want to pay another 100.00 dollars I’ve already dot that twice

I recently purchased a home theatre system with complete installation from Best Buy. The installation team from Geek Squad did a great job. They were very efficient and helped conceal cables and cleaned up when they were finished. They also gave us a complete overview on how to use the system. The install was worth every penny.

Set up of the remote is complicated and the geek squad set it up easily. They did show us the basics of the remote in order to use the remote but you chsndlier do so much more I found out later like programming the keys to your preferences. It would require a lot more instruction to really understand the remote.

I thank God you guys have the Geek Squad! Val came and installed an upgrade Harmony Remote. Originally, we had the basis Harmony remote and we wanted more features. Carlos installed the first one with expertise and time efficiency. Val installed the 2nd one and wow! We love it! Thank you!!!

The agent installed our new TV moved the old one and hung it in a new location, and removed an older TV we were replacing. They made sure all remotes worked for their TV's , did a great job overall.

Geek Squad Agent Michael listened to our issues with remotes and provided custom programming of a new Harmony remote to improve our home theater system experience. He also provided clear instructions in best use of the remote. Good value in custom programming and explanations.

Had to have my remote reprogrammed as I added a new BluRay DVD player. Geek Squad had set me up two years previously with a new home theater. Same Geek Squad member came out to do the reprogramming. Professional, thorough and quick. Good to know that you can trust them to get it right the first time.

The agents handled the issues with both TV’s and checked internet connections.

Jonathan was fantastic! I don’t know what I would do without the Geek Squad. I am trying to learn how to use my Apple Products and am getting frustrated. I try to go at least once a week to learn something.
