I teach part time at a local college and I really appreciate the ability to purchase this product for a student/teacher discount. I use Acrobat Pro at my full time job and have always been happy with its performance and have come to depend on it a great deal. Like previously stated, great product now at a good price. This will be beneficial to both teachers and students!

Makes it easy to edit PDF docs. I use it when I have repeat docs to do and I only have minor changes to make.

I was at first hesitant after I purchased this item and actually tried to return it prior to opening it. I just was not sure if this was a have to have item or a good to have item, however I am a professor and so I did feel that the student/teacher price point was a very good one. I did try to return it but then found out that after you purchase a software product and it is scanned, then you may not return it. So...I downloaded the software with my purchased Best Buy software product code and now I can see that this was needed..and that it has made my work life much easier due to all of the capabilities of Adobe. In addition, this was the best price I was able to find anywhere!

I have used Adobe Acrobat over the years, and this 2017 version has the features I was looking for. Be warned; this is a Student and Teacher Edition, special price. It is extremely helpful to use your teacher's email address to register the product, because there are a lot of codes and messages sent back and forth, until you finally get it all installed and verified. I wanted this Acrobat Pro 2017 for basic editing of PFD files, and combining PDF pages. I have not yet figured out how to find an "erasure" function to get rid of stray marks, so took away a star in my rating. I set this up to be my default program for opening PDF files. For the price, I would recommend it to other teachers.

This is simply a superb product. I purchased version 6 Pro nearly 2 decades ago and it survived for many years. Then I moved to version 9 las an upgrade and it has lasted just the same. This most recent version of pro 2017 is by far the best of them all. When I average the cost out over all these years adobe acrobat pro is always at the top. With all the functionality that you can do in the pro edition, it shines well above any “hodgepodge mix” of freebies that you can find online. Go ahead, and purchase this product for a smooth integration, security, and functionality.

In my mind, this is a MUCH better value than Creative Cloud for students that need to work with PDFs professionally (Engineering, Business, Literature, etc). The creative cloud subscription requires a monthly payment, and while its cheaper than full retail, it comes out every single month. Over the years, you will be spending several times more than the cost of this software stand-alone, and realistically few people actually use all the features of Creative Cloud. Identify your use case - if you just mostly work with documents, this is all you need. While its more up-front, you will be further along with just getting this software after only a few months.

I've always liked Adobe software. I enjoy having the stand alone version rather than having to have a subscription that I have to keep paying for to use. This is a one time payment and done. I've been able to install on all my computers without having licensing issues.

I purchased this version for the students at my school. Adobe has not adopted the typical annual fee, such as those used by Microsoft for its Office 365 platform. Those option are good for some people, but if you plan on using the software over the course of a few school years. It cost much more money. I love this version because it wat not as expensive as Adobe Pro, but has almost all of the same features for a one time cost that is about half the money. They only downside is you must be in education to purchase it. It's great for teachers.

Has all the features I needed to edit files. I recommend checking out Adobe's website to ensure that this version has all the features that you're looking for or need. Pretty easy to install and set up. You will need to verify your teacher or student info/enrollment then the code will be sent to you via your institution's email address. I suggest printing a copy of the code out and/or email it to yourself or both just in case you'll need to install and reinstall.

I was familiar with the product from office use in a previous profession. I liked functionality but thought the price expensive for personal use. Discovery of special student/teacher pricing rendered the price much more reasonable. I intend to convert all documents for my graduation portfolio to PDFs prior to submission. I also envision using other functionalities for personal projects. Many functionalities are available.

Currently in Grad school, decided to pick up a copy of Acrobat Pro while I am still a student. This is the full blown copy at education price. All you have to do is follow the instructions to request a serial number. They will verify you and send the key to you within minutes if you have a .edu email address. Otherwise, you have to submit additional verification (scan ID card, prove attendance, etc) and wait for the key.

I purchased this software version to upgrade from a version that was almost 10 years old. I prefer the stand alone, pay once versions of software as opposed to relying on web based, yearly subscriptions. Unfortunately, this appears to be the last version of Acrobat in this category. Still, a great product that allows complete manipulation of PDFs.

In order to register and use this product you need to be a staff or a student of a valid school. Otherwise you cannot register and use this product because they will give you a new serial number after validation by adobe to officially use it.

The Acrobat Pro 2017: Student And Teacher Edition for Windows is powerful software at a very affordable price. It's easy to install and performs as what I would imagine, the full blown, more expensive version would perform. I have recommended it to my fellow faculty members and many have purchased it.

MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A .EDU MAIL BEFORE YOU BUY IT! I got this for my son as he has to submit his work via email in his college. Pop the CD in the drive, filled out the registration and within seconds the activation email came in. You can install it up to 2 PC's without issues.

I can convert all of my files easily. Once loaded, it only takes time to transfer files from one format to another. So there so many additional features also! As a teacher that has to change my way of instruction, this will be a total time saver!!

I BOUGHT THIS FOR MY DAUGHTER WHO IS IN COLLEGE AND NEEDED IT FOR A CLASS ASSIGNMENT. THIS IS GREAT FOR EDITING DOCUMENTS. AND FOR CREATING NEW DOCUMENTS. ADOBE IS A GREAT PRODUCT FOR STUDENTS

This version of Acrobat has been perfect for my school needs. It has all of the programs that are required for me to successfully complete my advanced degree...and definitely much less expensive than the regular version.

Bought this because we needed to convert PDFs into editable spreadsheets and text files; works perfectly also allows us to edit and sign PDFs - saved us broke students a lot of money over standard version!
