Great widescreen OLED monitor.
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great OLED screen, even in the world of 4K OLED and higher refresh rates. Setup takes a little bit of research to get the best picture quality (using HDR1000) instead of it being default. Monitors are calibrated from factory, but at an unrealistic brightness level unless you work in the dark. There is slight text fringing, but many fixes (my favorite is using super resolution to 5K2K), and this exists for all QDOLED displays, even the new 4K ones. Also 10bit 165hz HDR needs some editing using CRU, but really easy to do (no real perceivable difference, maybe). Overall, great monitor that will last for years, not simply plug and play for the best quality, but close, and will last hopefully for years.

Top Tier Gaming Monitor
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I genuinely love this monitor. You can't go wrong with OLED. The missing star from a full 5-star rating is due to: * Possibility of burn-in. That anxiety along with recommended every 4-hour usage pixel refresh run. I know they have an amazing 3-year burn-in protection. But that cloud over my head is still somewhat annoying. So I have to hide my toolbar and move all shortcuts to a secondary monitor. Along with using a live wallpaper to give this monitor the best chance to last and not have any burn-ins. * Because it's Quantum Dot configuration OLED, funny green and red lines around the screen and box display are a bit annoying. But you'll get used to it after awhile. Overall, it's a perfect size and curve for gaming. Rich color. Good enough refresh rate. Especially when it's on-sale for $699 or $799. It's an amazing value.

Get for Alienware pc skip for anything else
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The monitor is great except you can’t run 4k at 120 refresh in hdmi and I bought open box excellent condition but the screen came with scratches and wear marks that won’t come out becasue it was shipped without screen plastic protector I don’t think they really check condition you could buy anything else and it would do more for less but I would recommend to someone buying alien pc the quality is great and it might do more if you could plug it in with the Alienware display cables I like the stand it raises and lowers well and is perfect for racing sim. Has no speakers if using Xbox x you will need to use 3.5mm cable for stereo sound with speaker system it just turns into a lot of work and more money because you wanted a high end monitor there are other curved gaming screens to buy and I would if I could go back

From the perspective of the Office...
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I rarely leave product reviews but in this instance, I wanted to take a moment to try and help those that may have had similar concerns. I purchased (2) of these for use in an office setting, in an office that has one entire wall of floor to ceiling windows, so brightness and glare were my primary concerns and I am happy to report it has been no issue at all. Out of the box, the units I deployed were set at 75% brightness and I've had to reduce the brightness to 65% for daily use (may go dimmer yet). Now to general stuff: - Unboxing and assembly is about as easy as it gets, no tools required. - I will echo other's comments concerning the "ample" size of the support stand. Be prepared for the feet to stick out the front of the monitor by 4-5". The front of the screen will be about 9-10 inches out from the wall/back of your desk. The stands are reasonably sturdy, adjustments are fluid and the range of motion is adequate for almost any scenario. Reminded me of the fantastic corporate grade Dell monitor stands from about 10 years ago. - As to performance, visually, the monitors perform better than my LG C1. I am not a gamer, so I can't comment on response times but the color reproduction and intensity is practically unrivaled. I use them with a Lenovo G-Series Laptop, which sports a claimed Pantone calibrated mini-LED display. which frankly, doesn't hold a candle to the Alienware. - Includes a myriad of different cords but excludes a plain old HDMI-HDMI cord. While I remain concerned with burn-in over the long run and the admittedly high cost, I am pleasantly surprised with their performance thus far.

Good Monitor for Ultrawide Games
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. In terms of screen quality, it’s definitely high end but it does not play all the games in full screen. Would definitely recommend it for games with ultrawide accommodations but would not recommend if the games you play are not ultrawide support.

Had to go back to normal aspect ratio.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Awesome monitor for gaming and good price to get into wide and OLED. Bright colors but the darks don't seem to get as dark as my OLED TV which was a positive since games turning to night often made it hard to see, not in this case.

Great device
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Im not normally one to write a review but this monitor has been amazing since I’ve purchased it. The colors are amazing and allows me to view images perfectly. The response time and deep blacks are truly amazing. My only gripe is the warning that pops up ever 4 monitor in hiuts to remind me to do the pixel refesh. But im glad its there to remind me to keep my monitor in good health. 10/10 would recommend.

Practically perfect but one weird thing
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Beautiful monitor, I use it for gaming and it’s performs beautifully. The only issue I’ve noticed is after some use, there’s these little pocket of bubbles appears on the screen. I’m not sure what to do about that.

Good monitor
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had this for a year now and I love on how it looks and responds to my gaming PC 165hz but some games jumped up to 237 fps. My only con is the pixel refresher randomly does it after long hours of gaming.

Great picture, disappointed with quality.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Picture quality is phenomenal. Dark blacks and bright whites. Only issue is I’m less than a week into having it and there’s burn spots appearing on it already. Returning it today

Great monitor annoying UI
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've updated the firmware + drivers + messed with the Alienware menu for hours, and still can't get the 165Hz to go away in the top left corner. It's a great monitor, but it is SO annoying to spend that much money to have such shoddy menu navigation/features.

Great performer
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very solid mo itor u til it started stuttering and elmb was messing up. I built the system this year with am5 and everything else was solid. Could only have been this causing issues. Id imagine it being the silicon lottery. Tgere will always be duds regardless of what you get. I got unlucky i guess. But other than that. The 3 weeks i used it before the issues, it was solid and amazing. But i did uograde to a 4080s shortly after this getting and could be why it was having issues. But ran well for a bit before this all happened. So idk haha

Fantastic OLED
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Beautiful quality honestly I can’t go back to a regular monitor I need to have OLED. Only thing I have an issue with is fresh out the box slight streaks that you can wipe off

Good monitor for a medium desk
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nice responsive, colorful and immersive gaming monitor, It is perfect for PC (high specs needed to move this display) It has support for mainly all competitive actual games with the ultra wide aspect ratio of 21:9 , it can be adjust to 4:9 if playing retro or you’re a try hard in shooters , also comes with a console mode that make it a 16:9 for a fake but really good 4K adjustment perfect for both Xbox and ps5 (switch will suffer with this display, I haven’t tried but I don’t spect to be a good idea)

Top notch 1440p gaming
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really good product, unfortunately just a touch outclassed by the new Gen3 panels. Still a great deal for the price.

great monitor just not blown away like i excpected
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.it's a good monitor but for the price i wasn't exactly blown away. i kind of wish i would have gone with the g8 for the smart features. the screen gets so dirty so quick. the blacks are the standout feature that is impressive true blacks that really shine compared to non oled panels. i heard so many good things i was just excepting to be blown away and although its impressive its not 800$ impressive.

Amazing monitor with a downside
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's a really great monitor.. sadly the one down side for the reason I can't give it a five-star.. is that every 4 hours the monitor wants to do a OLED reset... Takes about 9 minutes... If you don't do it it could cause damage to the OLED panel... Which kind of sucks when you're in a game and that message pops up.. you can turn it off but it's not recommended

Idk if i can go back to a normal monitor
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Can’t go wrong with it, got it on sale and its perfect for the sale price. Idk about full price but if it’s something you’re looking to get id definitely justify getting it when it’s back on sale or full price if you got it like that. Either way, really great monitor and will never be able to go back.

Fun experience
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my first Ultrawide and the screen is great for immersion. Games look beautiful and extra screen is great for work. I just don't like that you have to refresh the screen every 4 hours which gets annoying.

This is just the beginning
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. One of the best PC monitors you can buy today. Would not recommend if you plan to connect a console like an Xbox or PlayStation as compatibility and IO is lacking. HDR 400 TrueBlack is amazing and you won’t want to game on anything that doesn’t have it. With OLED coming to monitors this is only the beginning and I can’t wait to see how to competition will do to compete.
