Great Mouse!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This mouse definitely complements the Lunar Light Legend design language. It goes great with Alienware's current lineup. Omron switches feel great. The mouse is also very comfortable to use. It also has a low profile receiver. At first this mouse was a nightmare to use. But after all of the Alienware Command Center updates, I haven't had any issues.

A comfortable mouse with nice buttons
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Dell made a comfortable mouse for long term use. I like the hammerhead design and the side buttons are easy to reach. The scroll wheel is nice though I wish I could adjust its resistance. There is a button to change the DPI and it comes in handy when going from a 3rd person game to scrolling through a map. There are four RGB areas including the Alienware logo, you have to go through the Alienware Command Center to adjust then. It’s not the best software but it works. My only issue is that the mouse charges via micro USB that has a proprietary housing around the connector. It also uses a USB connector for wireless use. This mouse came out 1-2 years ago but it should have used USB-C, like the new one. I haven’t used the new one but it’s smaller, only has one RGB light, and is more designed for portable use. I’m sure it’s fine for that but, if I’m going to sit for a few hours gaming, I want something larger that conforms to my hands.

Disappointed with the Alienware AW610M Mouse
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After much anticipation, I finally got my hands on the Alienware AW610M mouse, hoping it would elevate my gaming experience. Unfortunately, my excitement quickly turned to frustration. Design Flaws: The mouse boasts an unusual shape that, while visually striking, is impractical for extended use. The inward curve of the base and the wide center point make for an awkward grip that leaves my hand cramped after just an hour of gaming. The LED-tipped fins, meant to be a design highlight, are nothing more than a gimmick that adds no real value. Performance Pitfalls: For a mouse that claims high precision and responsiveness, I found the sensor to be lackluster. In fast-paced games, the cursor lagged, and the input felt sluggish, which is unacceptable for a mouse in this price range. Software Shortcomings: The Alienware Command Center software is a letdown. It’s unintuitive and offers limited configuration options, which is a significant drawback for gamers who like to fine-tune their settings. The fact that not all buttons are programmable is a baffling oversight that limits the mouse’s versatility. Ergonomic Issues: The mouse is marketed as suitable for all hand sizes, but as someone with medium-sized hands, I beg to differ. The size and weight distribution are off, making it a chore to maneuver the mouse with any sort of precision. Final Thoughts: The Alienware AW610M mouse is a classic case of style over substance. It’s a shame because I expected more from a brand like Alienware. If you’re looking for a reliable gaming mouse, I suggest looking elsewhere. This one, unfortunately, misses the mark by a wide margin.

Alienware does it again
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Good: 1. Overall design and look of the mouse is excellent and gamers around you will be a bit jelly 2. Alienware Command center software for light control and to manage the mouse is easy to use and excellent compliment because I already have an Alienware laptop 3. No batteries needed (like ever) and charging is lighting fast 4. The ability to change the mouse DPI on-the-fly using middle mouse button with responding light display is just awesome (only tested 800 to 1200 DPI) 5. The middle tracker button used for scrolling has a comfortable feeling and grip The Bad: 1. Not a Bluetooth mouse so it still requires a USB dongle and/or USB cable (that means you must give up a USB slot on your laptop) 2. Alienware Command center software for light control is an additional program in addition to the native Alienware command center if you own an Alienware laptop (I wish the software should have been integrated) - Does not affect non-Alienware laptop owners 3. Macros to program the mouse keys are very difficult to learn/understand/use even for a computer savvy person 4. The instruction manual is download only (I guess to save the environment - not really bad thing)

Works well
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This mouse works really well. You can select up to five profiles depending on what you are doing or playing. The only big complaint I have is the software doesn't let you remap the side buttons. They just do forward and back in a browser. Not useful for any games I played.
