Disappointed with the Alienware AW610M Mouse
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After much anticipation, I finally got my hands on the Alienware AW610M mouse, hoping it would elevate my gaming experience. Unfortunately, my excitement quickly turned to frustration. Design Flaws: The mouse boasts an unusual shape that, while visually striking, is impractical for extended use. The inward curve of the base and the wide center point make for an awkward grip that leaves my hand cramped after just an hour of gaming. The LED-tipped fins, meant to be a design highlight, are nothing more than a gimmick that adds no real value. Performance Pitfalls: For a mouse that claims high precision and responsiveness, I found the sensor to be lackluster. In fast-paced games, the cursor lagged, and the input felt sluggish, which is unacceptable for a mouse in this price range. Software Shortcomings: The Alienware Command Center software is a letdown. It’s unintuitive and offers limited configuration options, which is a significant drawback for gamers who like to fine-tune their settings. The fact that not all buttons are programmable is a baffling oversight that limits the mouse’s versatility. Ergonomic Issues: The mouse is marketed as suitable for all hand sizes, but as someone with medium-sized hands, I beg to differ. The size and weight distribution are off, making it a chore to maneuver the mouse with any sort of precision. Final Thoughts: The Alienware AW610M mouse is a classic case of style over substance. It’s a shame because I expected more from a brand like Alienware. If you’re looking for a reliable gaming mouse, I suggest looking elsewhere. This one, unfortunately, misses the mark by a wide margin.

Alienware AW610M Mouse
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had this mouse almost 2 years. It developed a double click issue within 6 months. i thought it was the software, but upon a google search, found that many had this mechanical issue. I've had issues with all my Alienware equipment. I could say I would never buy Alienware/Dell again, but really, would they care?

Uncomfortable Gaming Mouse
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently bought an Alienware laptop and thought that it might be nice to have some Alienware accessories to go with it. But I can tell you that the mouse was not a nice accessory to go with it. I was very excited to use the mouse. Having a wired/wireless mouse seemed great. That part of the mouse works fine and the battery life of the mouse is excellent but for me it was the comfortability of the mouse that was a red flag. The wings that are at the bottom of the mouse seem like a good idea to kind of rest your hands on them. But I felt that every time I moved the mouse it would drag because of my wrist sitting on that wing oddly. It also made holding the mouse more uncomfortable than just holding a normal mouse. I also have slightly bigger hands than an average person but I do not think that it would be any different for another user. For the $90 to buy this mouse I think that you would be better off buying another mouse that will be more comfortable.

DO NOT BUY
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this mouse in May 2020 (During Covid) due to my older alienware advanced mouse giving out after 2 years of use. I was excited to get this for the wire/wireless configuration and the more ergonomic shape. BUT THAT's all and where the pluses end, this mouse is CHEAP, lightweight plastic and has none of the features the prior mouse had. No changeable wings, no weight or heaft. Plus I just get the infinate circle of lighting and poor items with this. The price of this mouse is not even comparable to what its worth. I swear this is like a $20 mouse to them and offers no real advantages. I would highly advise go LOGITECH or CORSAIR instead. As I can't file a claim with Dell for this issue.. Its a pain and something I curse at every day and looking to replace. And most of all they won't respond via twitter or facebook and I get the run around on the phone system. So I'm getting close to a paper weight for 2 months worth of use! SO POOR with service, implementation and for the cost its for the birds. I'm really thinking of abandoning Alienware/Dell after all of this as Dell is really cheapening the brand... Alienware was supposed to be gaming, and reliable and worthy of the name. But NOT THIS PIECE OF JUNK.... Just awaiting and hoping for some sort of recylce/trade benefit like in the past where brining in a old mouse might get me a % off a new mouse to get rid of this this. SO STAY FAR FAR AWAY... AND ALIENWARE/DELL IF YOUR READING, YOU SHOULD HAVE RESPONDED! Your Facebook and Twitter automation that is asking for service tags don't help me with accessories since I didn't get this with the original purchase! TOTALLY FRUSTRATING and POOR!
