Does everything it's says what a great gift it was

I purchased echo dot 3rd gen and it was excellent. Then I returned to get the bigger regular echo 2nd not the dot and it seems to have more treble and clearer but if I could I would have stayed with the 3rd gen echo dot which I thought was great.. I am not a large music listener but with this device I am trying to enjoy music. This echo 2nd gen is okay and I don't want to go to the echo plus.. I got the echo 2nd gen for the 2 internal speakers and because I have the $3.99 plan on amazon one device unlimited. If I had the regular unlimited amazon I would go with a stereo setup with two echo dot 3rd gen not this item. Maybe they will come out with a regular 3rd gen echo.

I didn’t realize how much you could do with Alexa. A lot more than Siri. Very pleased. I have this one located in my kitchen so I can use it for music and the occasional cooking-related questions.

Great Smart Speaker. Sound Quality is impressive! Easy setup too. I didn't think i needed Alexia in my house, but she has turned out to be a welcome addition. Lots of cool info, facts, games and music.

My wife loves the size and fabric option and I like that Alexa learns daily and provides more options that work within our lifestyle

This is the 2nd echo I have purchased. The smart home ability of the Echo is amazing! I use mine for music and weather reports mostly. I also have the Hue bridge linked to the Echo so I can control my lights with my voice!! Would recommend to anyone!

We have the echo dots and are adding the Echo to the kitchen as a hub. Great for listening to music and for making lists, as well as getting the morning weather and headlines without turning on the tv

Use this primarily as a sound machine for sleeping, and sometime to play music. Audio quality is very good and it was easy to set up.

This next, 2nd, generation Echo was nicely done. The profile, foot print, is smaller and stylish therefore not sticking out. Oh, the sound is still great. I would get more for other rooms in my house.

The second gen version of the Amazon Echo is a nice improvement over the original Echo with a somewhat sleeker design and better sound. The texture covering is also a nice refinement.
