The sound on the gen 3's is way better than previous versions. Like it alot. The white color works great in the room.

Alexa has been not only a useful tool in our Ring home security system, but has been a fun addition to our home as well. It's easy for our young child to request songs and we have had many dance parties in our kitchen since Alexa joined the family. The Ring system was easy to set up and Alexa communicates well with the arming and disarming of the security. Her speaker is good quality and she is able to easily interpret what we ask of her.

We have a 2nd gen echo but we purchased this 3rd because reviews indicated that the audio quality had greatly improved. We have not been disappointed. Bass response and volume has improved. If you use your echo for music I recommend this upgrade.

better mics than dot! sound above average! bluetooth needs work, if you raise the volume from app bc device is low Alexa voice will be way to loud,,, its also time for a rechargeable option so you can move device room to room about $69 12 - 2019

Easy to use and set up, I thought it was completely wireless but it still needs to be plugged into a wall

I ask Alexa simple things like weather, time, and sports scores all of the time. My wife will ask Alexa for conversions (when she’s cooking), and for simple recipes, and adds things to her Amazon shopping cart. Needless to say, we’re both happier people now :)) This is actually the 3rd one I’ve purchased. It was a gift for my dad who always seemed impressed when I asked Alexa to play a particular genre of music. Now he can do it in his home with my mom.

I keep this one in my bathroom to play music as I'm showering. I love it. It's a really good audio quality for how compact this speaker is. I have a few other Echo devices but they are all hooked into other stereo units, but the sound quality, again, is pretty great for how compact this is. Plus it has no issue hearing me while some of the other echo devices seem like I have to shout at them regardless of if there's other noises going on or not.
