Lot to learn, but great device. Connecting to other devices can be frustrating, but over time should be better. Connect to my Bose blue tooth speaker, then tried the dot. Seems connection can be to only one device at a time. Still checking help app but limited info.

The Echo Dot is a great personal assistant, and right now the price is fantastic. It can give you the weather forecast, traffic reports, daily news brief, play music from Pandora or other steaming radio stations, and answer questions, all in a very small package.. .

I have this Echo Show (1st generation), a few 2nd generation Echos, and a couple 3rd generation Echo Dots. Having the screen is a nice touch, and it makes the device a lot more useful than voice-only. Although the speakers are larger in the Show, the Show doesn't sound as good as the standard Echos. In addition, the microphones are not nearly as good at picking up your voice and understanding what you're saying as the regular Echos or the new Dots. But, it's still good enough, and the screen makes up for its lack of sound quality and poorer voice control. I haven't tried the 2nd generation Show, but I've purchased an additional 1st generation for a family member; hopefully we'll be able to do easy video chats and I think they'll like it (it'll be their first smart device).

Easy to use. Works great with our Amazon account. Great for playing music videos and cartoons to keep my son occupied while I'm cooking in the kitchen.

Purchased for my mom in a memory care center. She doesn’t have to answer the phone, we simply drop in and start talking until she sees us. Picture clarity awesome! Staff also aware of this camera feature and knows we drop in frequently. Doesn’t replace room camera but good. Would give a 5 but can’t figure out how to have other alexa owners drop in on her. Anyone know?

I can not say enough about how much I love my Amazon Echo Show! I purchased this because I take care of my elderly mother who has Dementia. When I am at work, I can drop in on her to make sure she is ok. She loves asking Alexa to play songs she loved from the 50’s! She also can have Alexa turn on and off her lights. The speaker on the Echo Show has excellent sound quality. The news flashes that come up on the screen help my mom keep up with the news and I have linked my calendar to it, so she can have a constant reminder of my work schedule. I highly recommend the Echo Show!

Very pleased, easy to set up. Love listening to music and seeing the words for the song. Making a list is a great feature. Use for weather and news.

The Echo Show is possibly the best thing I’ve ever bought. Absolutely so easy to use and the speaker is great! I love how well Alexa works with commands.

Easy to set up, right out of the box. It’s nice to have access on different questions, music and managing lights and outlets around the house. I hope amazon and google will find a common ground and allow Alexa to access utube videos.

I love this! I can listen to music, my kids can set a timer, I can call family members who have a show, make a list. We use ours everyday!

Love Alexa! I love to talk to her to play a song, tell a joke or the weather, She can make a shopping list and shows me the words to songs!

After playing with a friend’s dot, I decided to go check them out. We decided to go with this unit. This gives you more music than you could ever imagine. The sound quality is really good. I’m able to ask Alexia what’s in my calendar, I use google calendar. You can ask about weather, traffic just about anything. Alexia also likes to play knock knock and tell jokes. It’s very cool to be able to ask for recipes and see the information on the screen. I was able to buy one get one $150 off. Awesome deal, I gave the second one to my son for his new apartment.

Much better to have a screen than just an echo. Sounds good too! Bought one when they were on sale and went back and got another one.

Great product. Love Alexa Echo Show. Love the big screen. Love doing searches and reading recipes on my show. Speaker is great for playing music.

I’ve had a good deal of trouble getting my 86 and 82 year old parents using Skype, google or any other video communication. My dad just has trouble remembering the steps. We set him up to get audio books and now they use the Echo Show to talk with us. It is really great being able to see them more often and they really like it too. The very best part is that they can use it all by themselves. I got one for myself a bit reluctantly but found I really enjoy being able to keep lists and look at recipes in the kitchen. It’s a win-win.

This Echo Show is really worth purchasing. Works effortlessly and family has really enjoyed the abilities to see each other when talking.
