Product worked perfectly for 5 months over the summer keeping his home at 74 degrees. One afternoon I entered the home and it was quite cold. The thermostat displayed "Hi" on its faceplate and was unresponsive to manual inputs. The Alexa app on my father's home indicated that the unit believed the home's temperature was 127F, so it was probably trying to cool it from that point. Since the thermostat would not respond to any input from the app, I restarted it be removing and reinstalling the faceplate, which corrected the issue. However, it reoccurred a couple of days later. Now I am living the nightmare of trying to get a refund, replacement, or repair on the item under Amazon's 1-year limited warranty. Best Buy will not help me since I'm outside of their return window, and Amazon isn't helping because I didn't order it from them on my account. I recommend staying away from this item.

Big utility bill savings if you could set below 50 F. Set up instructions and support weak; you get transferred to a Honeywell specialist who’s not happy to help. And didn’t. I installed, deinstalled and returned.
