I researched what I wanted and the thermostat does everything it’s supposed to.

its was really easy to install, took me 10 mins to install, i linked this to my energy company and haven't had issues. the biggest issues i ran in to was i dont use amazon services a lot, so i forgot what account i linked this device to, now i cant adjust temperature on mobile app, because i dont have accout.

The ability to adjust the temperature of your air conditioning unit remotely is an essential feature for individuals with busy schedules. Additionally, the automatic mode allows you to schedule the air conditioning to reach your desired temperature upon your return home from work.

This product was awesome! I wish it would work with our proprietary hvac. The instructions didn't mention the possibility of our hvac using standard colors for other things. (Rheem uses numbers instead of abbreviations.) and no way to make it work it seems. But the thermostat was really nice....

Some things in our life should be intuitive and not need an app to use, a Thermostat being one of them. This thermostat does not display the current Temp its set at. You have to hit the UP/DOWN button to get it. Only thermostat ive ever seen do that The modes are also confusing unless you read the manual or are using the app. Installation was super easy, loved the push in wire installation (no screwdriver needed). Guided video was excellent. Installation: 5 App: 4. Fairly straight forword. Cant control hunches. Ease of Use: 4. (When you understand it) Value 5 Intuitive: 2 If you are a techie single person, use apps for everything, this will work great. If you have kids, vacation rental or older people in your household this is not the Thermostat for you. The settings will be confusing with 5 modes. Another problem is no temporary setting which is fairly common.

Got this for my parents to replace there 1970”s thermostat. I have no background of electrical experience but this was super easy to install. We are so pleased with the Amazon Thermostat it isn’t any different then the nest except for the cost was way cheaper to buy. It’s beautiful on the wall the app is easy to use. My parents don’t have to get out of bed anymore they can control it right from there phone. Happy purchase.

Works great once intalled its nice to monitor temperature when away or at home eassy to operate with older units you need a couple extra stepps but works great

Great for if you are already in the Amazon family of products. I purchased this for my mom's home and she already had a few Amazon smart home products. It works very well and is easy to use. You can control it anywhere from the app or just use it at the device. It blends into a home nicely and disappears.

Best thing ever!! Especially as a new parent I can set the air to how I want it before I come home

Having difficulty getting the thermostat to stay at the temps I program into it. Might have to get Geek Squad to come to my house to help me set it correctly.

Unlike other retail thermostats with bells and whistles, this one is simple and smart. Easy to install and controllable via mobile phones from anywhere.

Very easy to install. Love that I can control it from anywhere. Turn the air off while on vacation and turn back on a couple of hours before I return.

Works great with Alexa, easy to program. Took a little research to get the wiring all lined up but I had it installed and learned about HVAC all within an hour
