I can definitely attest that if it is not setting to the correct temperature, that this is not the experience that one should expect from this device. It may be a defective device or an issue with a setting causing this issue. I would highly recommend reaching out to Amazon Customer Support at 888.280.4331 to see if they can troubleshoot with you further or to determine if it is in fact a defective device. Having this device personally, I have not had this experience with it and it has been great. Hopefully, Support can assist in providing that same experience for you! Removed it and will not be installing it back.

Needed the WI-FI thermostat to track the guest usage and temp. I can set the limits on the heat and AC settings, just what I needed.

Took a lot of digging on the blogs to find out that aspect. Would've been nice if Amazon had made that omission in their descriptions. Great value when paired with the Golden State Energy Rebates.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This works well with the Amazon app and Echo devices, which facilitate remote control of the thermostat. BUT the Amazon hunches that are supposed to learn your habits and do automatic adjustments are a JOKE. They are never right. Each time, I provide the requested feedback on whether the hunch was right, but it never learns or adjusts. The next day, the same hunch causes the same wrong response. I have even been seeking help from Amazon’s customer service reps and they have not remedied the problem. So, basically, this smart thermostat is not very smart.
