After years of dealing with PCs and their problems, I finally switched over to an Apple. The cost was the same as I had put into my most recent Toshiba laptop after years of crashes, upgrading from Vista to Windows 7,etc. I've had 2 Toshiba laptops and a Sony Vaio (complete garbage) plus a desktop before my iMac. None of them compare to the quality in my computer now. I love the speed and the ease. Setting it up was easier that any computer I've owned. It is true that you do get what you pay for. I'm sold on the Apple products and wonder WHY I took so long to finally switch over.

This is our first Mac in our house. Many PCs have preceeded it. I am very impressed with its speed and the beauty of the screen. The price for the 21.5" model is reasonable. I did add a crucial SSD for the system drive and also added another 8GB of memory. The drive upgrade is not for the faint of heart, but it takes the machine to a whole 'nother place for quietness and speed. The magic mouse is the best thing since sliced bread, too!

Great computer, fast and reliable new to iMac. Still learning this system. The only negative was the salesman told me it was the latest computer by apple only to come back 2 weeks later to see new ones being placed out. The reason I didnt buy a windows was because they were coming out with windows 8 and I wanted the latest model.

I'm a small business owner who bought this for work because I'm tired of my pc's getting viruses, working slow and crashing . I've installed parallels so I can still run windows 7 and quickbooks for windows on my Mac but still have all the features I want like photo booth, safari and iCal which streams all my calendar information from my cell instantly over wifi to my computer.

We helped my 70+ year old Grandmother pick out a computer after her old one failed. This has been easy to use for her, and despite switching from Windows to Mac, it has only taken a bit of help for her to get the hang of everything she needs. Highly recommend for ease of use and the computer consistently "works".

This is my first apple. I was prepared for the learning challenge and pleasantly surprised by its intuitiveness. Tutorials are readily available. The tech support by phone and online make it a delightful experience like figuring our a crossword puzzle. The dock setup is logical and offers many options for customizing. Its visually-pleasing design, wireless keyboard and mouse are reminders of cutting edge technology. Mouse is a touchpad for scrolling, navigating among pages, efficiently nuanced, help boost self-seteem to even the most 'computer challenged' such as myself. The illustrations, sound effects, crisp action of keys, efficient set-up, provide a level of comfort and confidence.

I have no knowledge when it comes to deciding what's the best computer on the market these days. I chose or rather the Mac chose for me. I intended to purchase a Toshiba All in One to replace my old Sony Vaio Laptop. Best Buy didn't have the model Toshiba I went in for, and while I was waiting for them to locate one I noticed the Apple line. There they were very large very unique systems, sleek models that didn't take up too much space on my desk. I hadn't planned on $pending that much but it's looking as if it was a Great investment!! It's been a little over a month now and I feel quite pleased with my choice. I want to add that ALL the Best Buy associates were extremely helpful that day! Some went above and beyond. This is the fourth Apple product I've personally purchased within the last 24 months.

Wasn't sure about switching from the Windows world but this is so much faster and integrates well with all our idevices

First off - I realize that part of why I am happy about this purchase is due to it being a new computer and all the trimmings that come with it. Performance wise - there is no comparison as a result of technology with my old system. This is my fourth computer system I have bought and use computers everyday for work. I decided on this one based upon other reviews - this website and the web - and a final tryout in the store. I was only after an all-in-one. Compared it to all others out there. Without a doubt I feel I made the right choice. But - this is my first Mac and it did not take very long to notice how much simpler the whole package is. I am hooked after only one day. The navigation and file setup is different but takes little time to pick up. Plus the apple website has plenty of tutorials covering the switch from a windows based OS to Mac. I have loaded programs(office mac) on the system from day one. The internet browser and mail are great. Plugged in my existing 3 year old HP printer - no issues. It is so simple and straightforward. Wish I would have switched years ago. The quality appears to be excellent. The screen is excellent. The built in speakers are surprisingly good. Love the camera and related features. The pre loaded applications are all I need. I like the "stealth mode" feature for the internet. The mouse kicks butt. Love the keyboard except it is a bit compact for man hands. But if you are accustomed to laptop keyboards you will be fine. I do wish they would have a full size wireless keyboard. That is my only complaint. I was considering the 27 inch screen. But feel it would be too large on a home office desk. Once you have it setup and you are sitting in a chair the 21.5 inch screen is more than enough. Do your own homework - but I don't see myself going back to a windows based computer anytime soon/ever.

I recently upgraded from a "dated" Dell computer. This beautiful screen and compact computer is exceptional. One plug to set up everything! The storage is perfect with plenty of room for my music, videos and photos!

Great computer, after learning the differences between Mac and PC I realized that you can do everything with the Mac that you do with a PC.

It Apple so it’s top of the line. You need computers like this . It has had no issues and has take auto updates with no issues . We like our MAC

I was brought up using a McIntosh computer when the macs first came out and I would never switch to a PC

All in all, I am happy with my purchase. I like the speed of the system. I am still learning the way of the MAC. There is a transition period that I am not done with so far. I am still enjoying the system overall.

This computer is everything I could have asked for.... I just wish it had iMovie and I photo installed.
