    Styling is, as usual with Apple products, gorgeous. Operation, not so much. I just don't think the way Apple does, and it's more than that. It takes twice as much effort and twice as many keystrokes or actions to do some things on the IPad as on Kindle or Android devices, and the whole UI is just STRANGE. I don't understand how people get so enamored of Apple products. One can basically do almost everything one wants; it's just harder, more arcane, less intuitive and requires more effort than other platforms. If I want to close apps on the Kindle or Android phones I just do one swipe or press and am presented with a list, and all I have to do is touch the close Xs on each one. Done. Of course Apple does not believe in those close Xs; apparently they smack too much of Windows (AND EVERY OTHER PLATFORM IN EXISTENCE FOR THE LAST 30 YEARS), so one has to click on the red dot (in the opposite corner, of course) in the case of a computer, or in the case of the IPad, one has to double click on the home key to bring up the list of apps, then CAREFULLY (so you don't just open it and have to start over) swipe up to slide the app off the screen. What a crock! It has this great finger print reader as a password. Only if it has been idle for a certain period of time or is just starting up, YOU HAVE TO PUT IN A PASSWORD ANYWAY! What's the point? Want to skip the password? I don't think you can. Apple doesn't want you to. My phone works on a fingerprint but also wants a swipe, but I think that can be turned off. I tried to return it, but I missed the window by one day, so I am stuck with it. I'm sure I will get lots of comments from Apple oficionados, but I have used everything from Commodorer 64, Amiga, Windows of various series, Apple OS, Android, and Kindle systems, and Apples OS is the WORST to use!
