Top notch sound and a worth successor to the original HomePod. Amazing sound and in a pair with an Apple TV. Watch out.

Love it! Recommend you buy two for the stereo output. A single speaker sounds great as well. It’s loud, music sounds great, love using it with my Apple TV 4K for a surroundsound. Use it in my master bedroom, would sound good and a small to medium living room. Siri is not great but if you’re in the Apple ecosystem, you know that already.

Very happy with this new model! I now have 2 of these as L/R stereo front speakers, and 2 mini HomePods as L/R stereo back speakers being used with my Apple TV 4K newest model. I also have a bunch of other mini HomePods scattered throughout the house, and they all sound amazing. These HomePod 2nd Gen offer just the right amount bass with the high excursion woofer.

I have always had higher-end stereos like Pioneer Elite and Denon. After hearing in the store, I ordered one for home. It's very easy to use/connect an iPhone and play Sirius or local music. Next up, I'll connect it to an Apple TV. If that works well and sounds good, I plan to get a 2nd one for the Spatial audio capabilities.

Initially intended to use primarily to stream the audio from an AppleTV. The sound is much, much better than that from the TV; but then, several products out there offer that as well. What's so special about it are the smart features and the user friendliness. After plugging in the wall and using my iPhone, it was up and running connected to wifi and to the AppleTV in under 2 minutes.

The Homepod is an incredible speaker that truly delivers on its promise of superior sound quality. Its compact size belies its powerful audio capabilities, which are sure to impress even the most discerning music lovers.
One of the standout features of the Homepod is its ability to automatically adjust its sound output to suit the acoustics of the room it's in. This means that no matter where you place it, you can be confident that you'll be getting the best possible sound quality.
In addition to its impressive audio capabilities, the Homepod also boasts a number of convenient features that make it a joy to use. For example, you can control it using your voice through Siri, Apple's intelligent personal assistant. This means that you can play music, set reminders, and even control your smart home devices without ever having to touch your phone.
Overall, I would highly recommend the Homepod to anyone who is looking for a high-quality speaker that delivers amazing sound and offers a range of convenient features. Whether you're a music lover or just looking to enhance your home entertainment system, the Homepod is definitely worth considering.

These things are amazing! Started with one to test out. Ended up buying 2 more. I replaced my sound bar and use 2 for my main tv audio. And the other in my gym. This prompted me to get 2 mini ones for my bedroom tv.
Only downside is they’re not Bluetooth.. but I’m primarily Apple in my home so I’m good.

Big sound, small footprint - works with all my Apple gear! Just had to let it update initially, which it did automatically once initiated by iOS. Once updated, was able to use it with MacOS. I don't really use it for Siri, just to play music. It has no problem playing from either my computer or iPhone. The sound is surprisingly loud for its size. I really like it!

Ordered 2 of these so I can setup in stereo…sounds so much better than the 1st version. I loved the 1st version, and these sound even better. Easy to setup, and love the new removal plug, which makes moving around and adjusting to your room so much easier. Music sounds amazing…you can def turn these up without and distortion. Super happy this purchase.

To preface: Im a die hard Apple ecosystem user. I have it all. So naturally I was excited to try this as I like my current homepod mini that is hooked up to my Apple TV. The mini just isnt loud enough for my ADHD need to listen to music while showering.. I have a large Gen 4 Amazon Echo in the Bathroom, for this, that I was looking to upgrade. I tried this device for 2-3 weeks before returning it. For starters: the sound quality and speaker volume wasnt much better than my HP Mini, and worse than my old Echo. It also had a lot of glitchy issues with Alarm settings and other features (some of this was eventually fixed with IOS 26.2 update), but the connectivity in general to my phone and other apple devices was very lacking at times. Also, dont even get me started with how inadequate Siri is as a smart assistant. I would ask it questions to often be told essentially to reask from my phone.. if I wasn’t busy getting ready or something and could do that I wouldnt be asking to begin with. Alexa especially with the Alexa + is so much more intuitive and helpful. I was really upset because I Really wanted this $300 device to meet expectations.. I exchanged it for the $100 cheaper Echo Studio (2025 edition) that now has Dolby Atmos and am far happier. Apple really dropped the ball on this device, and Siri in general.

Best purchase I’ve made in a while. The HomePod and HomeKit are the basis for my smart home setup. I also purchased an Ecobee Thermostat Premium from Best Buy. I’m so happy with the way everything integrated!

sonically, it delivers impressively rich bass depth for its size and can be paired with a second speaker for true stereo audio. While the second-gen HomePod isn't flawless, it's a well-designed product that earns our Editors' Choice award for Apple-first smart speakers
