This Mac Mini is the perfect entry into the MAC OS ecosystem. It performs all the tasks I throw at, and the included apps are great. The SSD is so fast. I have had no issues with only 8Gb of RAM. This is a small, quick Mac with a lot of ports.

If you need a headless Mac or in my case have a ultra wide monitor, this is a great option. Good power, small design are great for a small desk or if you have limited space. Nice that RAM is also user upgradable.

I purchased this Mac Mini open box. It works fine but came without any MAC OS operating system. Luckily I have another Mac and was able to download and create a bootable USB disk to the boot my new Mini and install MAC OS. Other than this issue, the item works well. It does get very hot when multitasking with dual monitors connected.

The wait is over and Appke finally revamped the mini. I'd have to say it is solid, fast, light weight and not bulky like the PCs I had since I've converted from Windows. Thanks best buy for having it in stock.

Purchased this Mac mini to replace my previous Mac mini since the RAM is not user upgradeable. Easy set like you expect from a Mac. Handles using multiple application much better than my old mini.

Macs are great. Have had them for years. Sure, they are a little pricey, but they work well. This system seems very powerful and fast. Paired with a nice monitor it is a great set up.

My last Mac was 9 years and still working great, just too old for lastest updates and software. This thing is so fast compared to the old one!

Before I used to have a Mac Mini (2014) and the next day returned it to the store. The integrated video at that time was not working with my Samsung 27 inch HDR monitor (with 30 hz output it was killing me!). I took a chance this time with the new Mac Mini 2018 and to my surprise I am quite glad I did. Smooth response and not quite much learning curve as I thought I would have (Window user and still am). I am still figuring out the issue with my current monitor Dell S2417SG 24 inch which goes to sleep mode and does not wake up unless if I unplug and plug it back in from time to time but that's a minor issue. Aside from that if you update to the latest Mojave update (10.14.5) be prepared to have issues when watching movies/tv shows in full screen as there is no video but audio works. Hopefully they can fix this issue in the next update soon.

Got this to work on a Mac only application that I needed for work. Good unit. Typical solid Apple product. Pricey, especially for the storage and memory configuration. Saved a bit and upgraded my own RAM.

First Mac I've owned, first I've used since mid 90

I'm a developer (Windows normally), and investing effort into mobile development. I needed a Mac in order to publish applications to the App Store for iOS devices (iPhone, iPad). I'm pleased with the quality and workmanship of the Mac Mini. The last time I used a Mac with any depth was in the mid 90s, on a Mac 68040 CPU, OS 9 or something like that, so it's also nice to refresh my skill set on the basic operation of the Mac OS. This Mac mini is one "step" above the base model. So far I'm very happy with it, it recognizes everything I've plugged into it very quickly (compared to Windows 10 with a higher CPU/memory), and works flawlessly. It's very small compared to my PC, in fact I've got it set on top of my PC. I'm looking forward to learning a lot about mobile development.

Great computer, though Apple implemented a big price increase. Used to the the best Mac office computer for the price. Now, one needs to evaluate all Macs before selecting the best features/price to meet your needs.

This is my workstation for editing photos, and video. I use it frequently for sorting through images and organizing. It does slow down with the adobe suite, and it is overall working for me well.it's good for consistent interface and integration into the apple eco system. I would probably recommend to most people though to go with a windows computer since it would give you better specs and probably performance. Overall good computer, for the apple line up most affordable.

I purchased an Open Box Mac mini i5 model through Best Buy. The Apple box was a bit scuffed with the Open Box sticker leaving a slight residue after peeling. The machine was in very good condition, though it is obviously not brand new with some visible marks from handling. The machine itself is great and I have no problems with it. I decided to take a risk with an Open Box but am happy with it and will be keeping it for the near future.

I purchased the new 2018 mac mini (to replace an older 2012 mac mini), and was very happy with over-all performance. I purchased with the 6 core i5, 8GB ram, and the 256GB SSD. The internal drive is very fast, but not the largest SSD. So I run the OS/Apps off of the internal hard drive and installed 2 larger extarnal SSD's using the included thunderbolt 3 ports for our files (photos, videos, movies, music, etc). Very happy with this new mini and macos Mojave.

...you’re a Mac user, and a user who hasn’t upgraded their Mac Mini since 2011. Upgrades bring a much welcomed abundance of speed increases, from both a processor, Memory, and storage perspectives. Argue and hate as much as you want, but there’s no denying the deep hardware and software integration as a result of Apple’s Draconian ways, has an end result of incredibly fast processing and data accessing speeds.
