I bought this with a 128gb quad core i3 mac mini as well. This one is just a bit faster (perhaps its in my head) but worth it for the slight price jump to have double the capacity and 2 more cores when I need it for intensive work

This mac mini is hugely overpriced for what you get. If you can do without the apple logo and OSX, you can get the exact same specs in an hp or dell desktop computer for basically half of the 1099.00 that this thing cost when we bought it. There's no keyboard and no mouse btw. You get the mac mini and a power cord, that's it. These mac minis used to be a semi-reasonably priced entry point into the world of apple computing back when they were about 500.00 for the base model. Not any more. Before you pull the trigger on one of these, ask yourself what you're going to be using it for. If you're going to be doing most of your work in a browser like chrome or firefox, then save yourself a ton of money and buy a windows pc with the same or similar specs. If you absolutely have to have the mac OS or the apple logo then go ahead and get one of these.

Pros: small, quiet, powerful, flexible, and love the color. Cons: Expensive when you add matching "stuff" like keyboard, mouse, monitor, track pad and external storage. Wires are more cluttered. I replaced a 9 year old I-Mac that still operated well for our use. I am sold on paying a little more for a Mac and have it last 3 times more than a PC or Laptop. The mini is small, really quiet and with the update will last me another 9 years. I like that I could match my own monitor, which is wider than an I-Mac. My only complaint is that I have too many wires and have to figure out how organize them - not too bad of a complaint. (external drive, external back up drive, speakers, etc..) I rated as a 4 because of the overall cost and is a little more complicated than my all in one i-mac.

A mini mac with great power, very economical and with great power to work without problems, highly recommended for all, I would have liked Best Buy to give you the opportunity to configure it to give it more power.

I would say this computer was worth the wait. Apple has overall done a nice job with the new Mac mini. The connections on the back of the mini are plentiful. The speed and the responsiveness of the i5 processor is nice. The 8gb memory has been sufficient,but will need to be upgraded at some point. The graphics are adequate and able to power two 24 inch monitors. The main use of this Mac mini is for photography and it has handled large raw files well. The only reason to not give the mini 5 stars is the fact that the item is a bit overpriced. You are definitely paying a premium for the name. The cost of upgrades from the base is high.

I have been waiting formthisnday’ This new MAC is blazing fast - the processor is tenfold what the previous gen was.

A friend of mine recommended this to me and so far it has been a great purchase. It works great with my 27 inch Dell screen that I bought with it. It is quiet and loads very quickly.

I love it. I use this primarily for recording music, lots of plugins and tracks happening at once, and it works perfectly. i have the base model. And i have the ability to upgrade the ram, great.

when you already have a keyboard and monitor why pay for stuff you dont need. Powerful computer at 1/3rd the p rice of a full mac

I didn't need a screen this time as with the iMac, so I decided to go with the mini because of the compact size and love it.

This is my third Mac, I had a 27” IMac, 15” MacBook Air, and now this Mac mini. And it works just as good as the others did. God rest their souls. What else is there to say, it’s a Mac.

Have had an iMac for over 10 years which just needed replacing. This was an excellent choice and performance is the same minus the screen resolution compared to my personal monitor

So I got this machine to use for a apple server. I bought it and then went to the App Store and installed Apple server iOS. It was super easy to use and works like a charm

Love this. I've owned Mac minis before and love them. But they always under perform for design work. This one is finally worthy of that type of work. So happy with this purchase

I have used this computer to edit video, and is far superior than my older MacBook Pro by a boatload. I look forward to using it on more projects, its pretty awesome and capable!

love apple and mini is great we didn't need monitors we already had them so just plugged in and started using it wish it included mouse and keyboard at the price tag but ol well

Great product, easy to use and doesnt take up much space at all. Bought open box but was still able to get the full warrantee with it!

Simple to set up and use. Plugged in power, connected monitor utilizing HDMI cable, connected keyboard and mouse and was ready to use internet service.

I use Mac mini’s along with my Mac book pro for testing SCADA software written in Ignition. They work great together with the Mac mini as the Ignition server.

Our old mini’s were getting slow. This new version is excellent. Runs 2 screens and handles all that we need it to do.
