This MacBook is a nice investment if you need one for the bare-bones programs and internet access. Personally, It does the basics of what I need it to for this season; I use it to write, study, and run programs like Microsoft Office for school. I also use it to take notes, surf the web, and also stream music. Additionally, it supports AirDrop so transferring files between the computer and my phone is much easier. An added bonus is that the Apple logo on the lid lights up. I will say this though: As this particular unit is now seven years old, there are some things that one might take into consideration when looking to make a purchase like this one. For one, the operating system is progressively being phased out, and there are certain apps and programs that will not run, (that is if you can get them to download). Please keep this in mind when purchasing an older model of any Apple product. Secondly, Since this is an older unit, the battery is also (I imagine) almost as old as the computer itself, so there may be some aging of the battery, where it may drain faster than it did when it was new. Depending on what it is you are looking for in a computer, this may affect your ultimate decision on making this purchase. Bottom line: It works for me, and quite frankly, I really like it. However, if you are looking for a MacBook that you can use for a few years WITH the capacity to access many popular Apps on the App Store, this computer is not for you. I would suggest making the investment of a newer MacBook Air, maybe a couple of years old or newer; Especially if you plan on holding on to it for a while. There are a number of factors to consider when making a purchase like this, so I would recommend taking inventory of what you are looking for in a computer right now, as well as where you might see yourself on the road ahead. Perfect for a first computer. A little tiny ding in cosmetic but something I surely can look past for my teenager for his first computer. It works just as we need it to and I will absolutely be doing the same thing for my daughter. Would recommend especially for kids!

Very disappointed. The Macbook Air comes with a scratch around the apple on the outside lid. I thought they would sell me the equipment in better condition.

Overall worked great! Wasn’t able to update the computer tho which prevented me from downloading some apps and use features that newer updates have which was unfortunate. Battery life lasted me around a 1-5 hour school day with a short charge here and there. I usually would have to charge it anytime i used it for an extended period because i knew there would be a chance of it suddenly dying. had issues connecting to my wifi anytime id leave my house it would be difficult to reconnect it but that could also be an issue with my wifi

My older device was running out of disk space and was unable to clean out as much unneeded data that would free up disk space and still keep all the apps I make use of. Price was right, well under $400.xx for a newer model MacBook Air with more OS memory and storage memory, 256GB over 128GB , and although refurbished, looks and works just as good as a brand new device.

Great computer but the charging port is only on one side and comes loose easily. Other than that great buy.

I purchased this as a gift for my daughters 16th birthday which was on march 9th. She’s always wanted one, but new ones are very expensive. I purchased this refurbished one hoping that she would love it just the same. And, she does. The Mac book air itself seems to be working good after just a couple of days however, it came with an aftermarket charger that gets VERY VERY hot while charging for only a few minutes. It almost burnt her hand! That’s why it’s only a 3 star rating. I checked, and it’s definitely a bad charger. She just received it on her birthday (9th) and the return policy is 15 days (7th). We’re going to try to exchange the charger tonight to see if that solves the issue. IT’s a refurbished 2017 model yes, it was still $400 something dollars and I feel that it should have an Apple “working” charger, not a fire hazard of an aftermarket charger. Hopefully they will exchange the charger with no issues. I will update my review pending the results of that.

Very satisfied with my newly acquired Mac. Sleek design like it was assembled in the future and time traveled to be my assistant. I love the way it types ...can you tell??? overall rating 1k....Get you one if you haven't already.

Mac is awesome. I’m giving 4 stars because it did not come updated. Not being an avid Mac user I was pretty disappointed. So with that being said I had to research how and what to upgrade it too. Luckily I’m savvy in research.

I’m very pleased with this laptop. I didn’t need the fastest or newest computer since my desktop is brand new. This is just to have a second computer and one that’s portable. I’m very hangout with my purchase.

Returned because it had an ugly dent on one of the corners of the screen. Don’t trust on cosmetic evaluations. they should mention all damages. Machine didn’t came fully reset with remains of previous setup.

Overall very satisfied with my purchase. My laptop came very quick with no issues, and looked brand new.

The air book is the best computer for classes and for business handy to travel with and Ivan work from anywhere with it I love it!
