I am a MacBook Pro fan!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really like this MacBook Pro. It is super thin and very light weight. It is very fast and the screen resolution its beautiful. The stereo sound coming from the speakers is fantastic! I have the one with the touch bar and really like the finger print function. The touch bar adds to the full experience. My only drawback would be the lack of ports and omission of the optical drive. I guess this was necessary because of how thin this Mac is. I for one would buy this Mac again especially because of the deal I got at Best Buy!

Very small and very fast
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Computer is for my wife so I don’t use it much, have noticed a major speed boost compared to her 4-5yr old MacBook Pro. Design is nice however it does take some getting used to the lack of ports on it. Touch bar is also a cool addition

Excellent Laptop
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this to upgrade from an old pc and have been blown away. I use it for audio recording and video editing and it handles both beautifully. My only complaint would be the lack of ports but I just have 2 adaptors (1 USB c to hdmi and 1 USB c to USB 3.0) and a USB hub and it works flawlesssly. Overall a great computer.

Great computer
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This computer does not disappoint. All the reviews are spot on and every spec is spot on. The only downsides I have with this computer is the ports and the battery. The battery is great but when you have Netflix playing and/or youtube, the battery seems to run out a little too fast for my liking. I did happen to have the keyboard light on 75% and the screen at 75% brightness, but even with that, I got about 5 hours of total computer time before it got to 10-15% battery. The ports are no big deal, just need to buy a small dongle from Amazon and it will be fine. Also, the keyboard is soo awesome.

Easy to set up... was everything I expected.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Was easy to set up. Had to buy an adapter to plug in a phone or speaker. Should come with it for that amount of money!

Absolute fantastic MacBook Pro with Touch Bar
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A great tool. I love the touch bar and all the shortcuts it provides. This MacBook is a little bit pricey but I found the brilliant display of colors and the great sound quality worth it. One downside is the lack of ports which I overcame by spending another $100 on the HyperDrive for USB-C for MacBook Pro. I like the backlit keyboard for those hours when the light is dim. It is also slightly heavier then some of it's competitors but you are only talking ounces... No big deal....

Elegant and beautiful
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I finally had to replace my 2008 MacBook and I couldn't be happier with this. It only has lightning ports so you will need an adapter to use a usb device or connect an HDMI cable. You should definitely buy a hub for connecting other devices (USB and HDMI) when you buy the computer. Just think of the cost of the hub as part of the cost of the computer.

Sleek, Elegant , Powerful Apple Product
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this machine. I used to be Windows user and Switching to this MacBook Pro, honestly I will not go back. The only challenge I see is the lack of standard ports like HDMI. An adapter solves this.

Great laptop
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have a 2010 MBP and wanted to upgrade to the latest MBP; I was skeptical in the beginning about the new ones without any of the useful ports, but decided to take the plunge and I'm liking it so far. a little inconvenience having to carry dongle but the laptop works great. Battery life is definitely not what they advertise.

Disappointing Macbook Pro
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been using MacBooks for 10 years and this is the first time, I’ve ever been disappointed. Below are the primary reasons: There’s no Magsafe - If you have kids or pets, MagSafe is critical. The cord simply does not release. If something catches the cord - the laptop goes with it! Mine has been pulled across the table more than a few times. It's something I've always loved about MacBooks and this is a choice I just don’t understand. No standard ports - If you want to connect HDMI, USB, or Flash, you’ll need extra adapters. Example - If you have a presentation on a flash drive, you're out of luck if you misplace the adapter. Touch Bar - After 6 months, I find that I don’t use it much, even though I really wanted to. More often than not, I accidentally brush the bar and it disrupts what I’m working on. It feels gimmicky and just makes me wish I had a touch screen. I actually think the touchbar causes instability - the laptop often locks up and needs to be rebooted at least once every couple of days...and it is still fairly new.

Worth the upgrade
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This laptop is worth the upgrade if you're coming from the mid 2012 MacBook pro. Performance and build quality is great and the lack of traditional ports is not a big concern since best buy's insignia adapters are inexpensive compared to apples adapters. This is also very light and thin
