Awesome Laptop
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This Macbook pro is the perfect size as well as very thin. This makes it convenient to use while on the go. It is fast and lasts a long time. The only con is it does not have a USB port so you will have to buy an adapter to have one. Other than that it is great and the touch bar is great access for use. Highly recommend.

Good computer, poor planning
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have to say that this new MacBook Pro is sleek, fast and full of great new features like touchbar BUT, be prepared to stock up on adapters. At the very least you’ll need an adapter for USB input and forget about plugging your new lighting headphones in because there’s no spot for them either. From the minute I pulled it out of the box the reality of the Thunderbolt only ports hit me. I get it- but to not even have a lightning port for my APPLE headphones seems a bit silly. Stop making these exclusive ports or start including some standard adapters. With the $1800 price tag, I think you can afford to throw a Thunderbolt to USB in there. I would have given this 5 stars but the port situation is highly inconvenient.

Apple at it's best
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far works great. I've had my previous macbook pro for 8 years, by the way. The touchbar is way more multifunctional than I thought. Light weight, good battery. Nice keyboard. Ot would be nice if there was at least one usb port though.

Great laptop
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This MacBook Pro is a really great laptop. It is easy to use (once you watch the tutorial) and very light weight. I would recommend it to any college student looking to invest in a good laptop. The battery life lasts a very long time too. The only thing that they don't tell you is that you will need a Hyperdrive in order to charge your phone, plug in a USB, etc. because the laptop itself does not have those ports.

Excellent
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This product is a great computer that runs very well. It is very fast and has a long lasting battery life. The Touch Bar adds a nice addition to the functioning of the computer but is not fully necessary. The only downside is not having USB or other ports but many connections are made wirelessly now anyways.

Fabulous
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. No doubts this is a great laptop, fantastic screen resolution and so easy to use touch bar. i am getting used to it..Loving it!! Best buy does the price match guarantee also so you can get it on best price in the market. The only deal is to get a USB C adapter/dock for which you might have to spend additional bucks but overall this machine rocks!!!

Great new MacBook
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I regretted selling my old (2014) MacBook Pro the moment it went out the door, but this new one outdoes it immensely in speed and style. The only thing missing is the light-up apple logo. I love the new programmable context-driven touch-bar.

I love it !! Great
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had my old MacPro for seven years before needing to replace it. I was debating on whether I should purchase a new one or pay to get my old one fixed. I finally invested in a new one, and I love it! The speed is lightning fast. It's lightweight and the battery life is great. I only wish it had a USB port built in. Instead, you had to purchase one separately. It wasn't very expensively but I just wish it was built in. Overall, great purchase.

Love this Mac
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was able to trade in my old Mac and get this new Mac at a reasonable price. I upgraded the processor and ram. Could not be happier. I love this computer. Battery lasts much longer than the MacBook Air. Only con is that this computer only supports USB C format. So an external hub will be required. Other than that, perfect!

Went apple and not going back to windows
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So this is my first Apple computer. Yes it is expensive, that is why I waited for the Black Friday sale. I’ve always had terrible luck with setting up the connectivity with WiFi or connecting to the printer with my windows computer. Setting up everything with my MacBook Pro was a breeze. Everything was set up and updated to the newest software version in under in hour. Love my MacBook Pro. However, I would suggest picking up a few USB adapters since most devices have a usb connector and not the usb-c connector.

Best "big buy" purchase in a while!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Could NOT be happier with my new toy! It was pretty pricey, but I am used to that being an avid Apple/Mac buyer. And it helps that the resell from my old MacBook was pretty decent. The Pros: The screen quality is better than it's ever been. I love the keyboard (has a nice feel to it). Love that it's lightweight, but still sturdy. Best Buy had the best pricing and a person onsite who was knowledgeable and able to answer my questions. The Cons: The trackpad is a little too sensitive for me and I tend to double click when I didn't mean to. While the touchbar is a nice addition, especially being able to log in without having to type in a password, as I'm getting used to it I tend to "ask Siri" for things when I didn't intend to. With both of these small things, it's definitely something I can see getting used to/over with repeat use. The Indifferent: It's pretty much how Apple rolls, but as everything is still using USB/other ports (non-Apple mouse, external harddrive, camera memory card), it's a little annoying to have to buy/use multiple dongles or equipment to fit the USB-C. Though it is nice that it's the same port type all around. Overall, I am in love with this laptop and would definitely recommend!

Not as good as my old MacBook Pro
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had the 2015 MacBook Pro with Retina display and sadly my keyboard and touchpad stopped working. After paying Apple $290 for out of warranty repair, it broke again 6 months later in the same exact way and the warranty for a repair is 60 days. Anyway, I loved that computer outside of the issue I had. I have now replaced it with this MacBook Pro. I gained -- more power and bigger hard drive and of course the Touch Bar. The Touch Bar is mostly a gimmick. Perhaps as I get more used to it and more is developed for it I may change my opinion, but in reality it makes certain things harder. For instance raising volume or brightness is now 2 steps when it used to be 1. Also battery life is miserable so far. Finally, switching to USB-C everything means a whole near series of costs with various adapters to support everyday life. I still rate it 4 stars even with the critical review. It's still a great computer, I'm just disappointed.

Apple Macbook Pro is the greatest!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Needed a top quality laptop, as my last one was a disappointment. Apple never disappoints. So happy with the processor speed and the ease of use with this product. Wish the USB port still came installed with the device. But I can live with that.

Great laptop for schoolwork and general use
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love the macbook pro. I use it for schoolwork, coding, editing, and general day to day use. The touch bar is useful. I like the headphone jack. The aesthetics and ergonomics are excellent. Lightweight and portable. Ventilation is silent and temperature is fine. It didn't get 5 stars due to the immediate jump to usb-c from usb as well as the removal of an sd slot, and no room for gaming.

A powerful laptop
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My fiancé and I both have this laptop. I am a musician and a full time student, and my fiancé does social media and marketing, so we tend to run a lot of different programs. This laptop can take it. I don’t mind the Type C ports. Just get the Insiginia adaptor for a good price.

Weening myself from Apple!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The new bar on the key board is great! However, instead of USB ports, apple made new ones. Also new is the charging chord. (The old magnetic charging chord is/was the bomb.) Apple changed them just like the headphones on the iPhone 7 so they can make more money.. So now you've got to buy adaptors for these ports. Now that Steve is gone, apple is just another company. For this reason, I'm taking it back. Weening myself from Apple.

Great but Pricey
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love my MacBook Pro! The touch bar is really cool and the graphics is noticeably better than my MacBook Air but I still wish it was a lot cheaper and that they kept the MagSafe and more ports besides USB-C. All in all it’s a great MacBook.

Love this laptop
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been a apple laptop user for over 10 years now and this is a great laptop and i love the touch bar across the top which will change depending on what application it is in. I do miss the mag power adapter on the older models and having to buy a "dongle" for the C to USB plug and the keys are alot flatter which takes time getting use to but over all its the best one yet ive owned

MacBook Pro
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This new computer replaced an older Mac. My issues with it was the transfer of the contents from the old Mac. The directions weren’t user friendly for a senior citizen who is a bit tech challenged. Also, I didn’t realize the charger cord had been replaced by the USB-C. AND NO USB ports. Otherwise, I love the touch bar.

Love Love Love Love!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Upgrading from a 2015 MacBook this was well worth it! At first I thought the Touch Bar would be more of a gimmick than anything but it is really useful! Still getting used to USB-C but I do understand it is the future and have to live with it. Great build quality and screen density/resolution.
